Halfway through the first full week of December, Lyre/Animalia was greeted with the first snow of winter. It wasn't a heavy snowfall, but it was heavy enough to require push-brooms instead of snow shovels to clear off driveways and sidewalks. Fortunately, this was enough since everyone in Animalia and its colonies were getting ready for the winter months, and December in particular.

Josephine and Martin were Skyping with Abby before she returned home for winter break. While much of it was more about home life, they did speak about the farm's newest workers.
"So, the new farmhands are the six guys whose hormonal problems made them somewhat feminine?" asked Abby. She had heard about it because she was what was now known as an 'Ambassadoria Alumnus'.
"Yes," confirmed Josephine, "but don't worry. While all of them are now quite fetching stallions, I'm still loyal to your father."
"Not to say you haven't been tempted." added Martin, much to the amusement of Abby and flustered embarrassment of Josephine. Abby had also heard about the catholic sisters that became Animalians to recover after their convent was destroyed by a hurricane and were experiencing Animalian 'heat' for the first time afterward.
"I'm pretty sure Samson and I would like to meet these new stallions when we come home for Christmas." said Abby, still snickering/whickering slightly.
"I'm just glad that Miss Fabina is helping Sylvia with her 'addiction'." said Josephine, as she wrapped up the Skype Session.

While the Animalia Christmas Exposition was the one holding the most attention, the tigers that were in Animalia were more focused on the upcoming Mr. and Miss Zodiac competition, since 2022 was going to be the Year of the Tiger, and the Chinese New Year would be landing on the first of February that year so that, while there were some who had started their training early, others were only now beginning their training.

Someone who had the most to look forward to Christmas was Polly. She was going to Dino City, both to reunite with Jeremy, and meet their hatchlings, though she wasn't sure how things were going to be for both her and her new... family members (she didn't have quite the idea yet which it would be, but she had some hopes.

Of course, with eighteen days until Christmas, some things were slowing down while others were speeding up, in Animalia and its colonies.
