"Where are we going?" Oliver asked.
"My unc's salvage yard," Rico said as he drove.
"Huh, oh I figured you'd take it to the art or shop buildings, or maybe home?"
"I'm living at the Salvage Yard now. I'm the night security guard. Mostly get paid to sleep, but if anyone does get in the dogs or the alarms will wake me. That's only happened a few times, and most of those were false alarms."
"Oh? Seems weird to be taking a statue to a junkyard, "Oliver said.
"Oh, I think it's inspirational," Rico chuckled. It was his secret joke, Oliver didn't know that the statue of Chad was really Chad transformed and immobilized. He planned to set his metal Chad statue next to the compactor. Then he'll put on a show for Chad of crushing refrigerators, cars and other metal objects. He is sure Chad will cooperate, and pose exactly as Rico instructs out of fear of being recycled.
"So why a statue of Chad? I mean he's a hot guy, but I figured you as preferring girls,"Oliver said softly.
Rico smirked. "I prefer girls, but I like money even more. Chad's a custom order. I'm going to use him - I mean it for my art project. Then sell it."

The truck bounced along. Chad was oblivious to Rico and Oliver's conversation. He was only aware of the rough bouncing, and the sound of the wind whipping at his tarpaulin cover as Rico drove away from the school. His mind was so sluggish, he was surprised to find himself unloaded and unwrapped in the junkyard on the opposite side of town.
Chad the statue stood shiny and naked in the afternoon sun. Before him stood the compactor in the midst of crushing a car.
"Let's go inside for a drink, Ol, " Rico said.
"You did an amazing job on that Chad statue. Whatcha think it'll sell for, Rico?:
"Lots, I hope," said Rico, then raising his voice, he added, "If it doesn't sell, I can always crush it and recycle the metal for another project."
Chad heard this conversation, followed by the sound of a door shutting.
He heard the compactor clank and the sound of scraping metal as the doors opened to reveal a metal block that had moments earlier been a beat up old Toyota. A rat skittered around his feet.
