Heather grinned as she stared down at the photo. “You guys, it actually turned out so good!” She said excitedly. She’d been dubious when the idea of trying out this vintage camera to take some photos before the wedding had been suggested—after all, there was no telling if this thing—practically an antique—would work at all—but it looked like it really had worked just fine.
Her friend Raquel laughed happily, pushing some of her dark colored hair away from her face as she smoothed out a crease in her wedding gown. “See, I told you it’d look good!” She said with a giggle as she gave Oscar a light shove, causing him to roll his eyes. “You should always listen to your bride, especially on her wedding day.” She added. Oscar grinned and leaned over to give Raquel a kiss. “Of course, honey.” He said with a smile.
“Get a room, you two.” Emma teased playfully. Like Heather, she’d been friends with Raquel for a really long time, so they’d been incredibly excited and honored when Raquel let them know she was getting married to Oscar and asked them to be bridesmaids. Hey, earth to Paula, come in Paula.” She called, causing the Asian woman to seemingly wake up with a start. “What? Oh yeah, the pics look great.” She said with a dazed look on her face. Heather thought about asking again, but decided to wait for a bit. Maybe she was just still a little hungover; after all, they had partied pretty hard last night.
Paul almost would have preferred staying as a doll. Seeing his wife as a guy—and about to get married to a busty, Latina version of his daughter’s boyfriend while he was stuck as an Asian bridesmaid and couldn’t even say anything was driving him crazy. Seeing the concerned look on his friend—Heather’s face, Paul knew he just had to keep his cool. There’d be a chance to use the camera later, right?
Glancing down at his phone, Oscar said “Okay, we’ve got enough time to take one more photo if you girls want, but then we’ve got to get going over to the wedding venue. So what does everyone want to do?”
They decided.....
