As you peer over the rock, trying as hard as you can to listen in on the caveman conversation, you're too distracted to notice the footsteps approaching from behind, or the large shadow looming over you. Before you can even realize what's happening, the heavy club whistles through the air as your mystery assailant brings it down on the back of your head. A dull thud sends shock-waves through your entire body and your vision goes black for a second, and then you see stars. You roll onto your back, groping at the back of your skull, where you feel an odd buzzing. Something broke back there, but you're pretty sure it wasn't your skull. As your vision blurs and your ears begin to ring, you find yourself staring up at your attacker, a brute of a man, big as a bear, his eyes black as coal and filled with a lust for your flesh. He comes towards you, thick and heavy, grunting like a pig, and when he grabs hold of your pigtails you finally lose consciousness.
Time passes.
You wake up in a daze, the afternoon sun burning your eyes as your head rings like a bell. Your back feels like you slept in a thorn bush and you quickly realize that you're moving! Your head is tilted back towards the sky, and you feel your heels dragging through the dry earth. Something is pulling roughly on your hair, and you feel a familiar beast-like grunt just behind you, out of your field of vision.
You let out an involuntary moan of pain as you feebly attempt to massage the back of your head.
"Ogh! You awake!" grunts a deep, gravelly voice.
You're still dazed and collecting your thoughts, there's a persistent buzzing in the back of your head and you're finding it incredibly hard to think.
"What... happen?" is all you can manage to get out.
"Gorr hit you with club. Take you back to cave and make you Gorr wife." the caveman grunts.
You suddenly remember the club smashing into your skull, and realize that you're being dragged by your hair across the savanna. However, you struggle to remember anything before that. Anything at all. In fact, you find it hard to even conjure up words.
"What your name, pretty girl?" Gorr grunts, in a strangely polite tone for someone who's currently dragging you to his lair.
You struggle for a moment, both physically and mentally, grasping at your pigtails and trying to wriggle out of his grip. There's no way you're breaking out of this giant's clutches, but you also find that no matter how hard you rack your brain, you can't even remember your own name.
"Me... not know." you say, meekly.
The caveman lets out a guffaw. "You not know own name? You stupid! Maybe too stupid to be Gorr wife!" he laughs again and you feel your cheeks burn with anger. "Me not stupid!" you think to yourself, "Gorr stupid! But why me not remember?"
"We at Gorr cave soon." says the caveman. "Maybe if you rest, you remember name. Then new wife cook for Gorr!"
You scream internally, still too weak to yell for real. "No! Me never be wife to ugly Gorr!" you think to yourself, "Me need trick him and run away!" Soon your view of the afternoon sky disappears as you're dragged into a damp cave, the shade from the sun and the smooth, cool stone feeling surprisingly pleasant on your skin. You feel a massive hand grip you under under your arm as you're roughly tossed onto a pile of animal skins. You flop around on your back as the massive hunched silhouette of Gorr pushes a large stone slab in front of the entrance of his cave, leaving only a crack uncovered so that the light can get in.
