"That sounds like fun! I'll be your warhorse." Mike grinned back at his soon-to-be owner. "As long as I can change back if I want to, there's no risk." Tye groaned and shook his head with a chuckle. So much for his former friend. Still, he would enjoy seeing the centaur become a normal animal. It was obvious the knight wasn't a paladin or other do-gooder, since he knew what accepting the transformation meant. Probably just an average adventurer of this world, not above taking advantage of someone else even if he wouldn't have tried to force the change.
Liam got very business-like. "Full custom change, and I might add, with a willing vic.. uh, subject. I can work an exact transformation, including training and bonding with memories. A bargain at 500 Gold." Even Mike was a little surprised at the cost - a good warhorse might normally run 400 gold pieces in the game, which meant it was out of reach for most low-class adventurers. The knight narrowed his eyes, and the two started mostly one-sided bargaining, where the price dropped only to 480 gold pieces. Mike took pride in his value, especially considering the knight would only own him as long as Mike enjoyed it - it never really occurred to him that should have been brought up in the haggling. Despite the high cost, the knight nodded and handed over a bulging sack of coins from his belt.
Liam patted Mike's side and said "Since you are the one being changed, I'll give you a choice. Would you like the training first, or the bonding? We can finish up the physical stuff afterwards."
