Amy and John rang Roger every half hour. But after two hours of hunting for his old body in the mall the new woman was sounding very frustrated. "I haven't seen my old body anywhere! My feet and breasts hurt! I'm being oogled by every man who see's me and I think I need to go to the toilet"
"Well go then. I give you permission. Just remember to use the ladies" said Amy. She had just visited the toilet herself and had been secretly thrilled to be able to pee while standing.
"Have you been able to raise Katie?"
"No she's not answering" said John in his little girl voice. "Maybe just come back here. We will have to try something else"

10 minutes later John's parents came home. He and Amy had discussed the possibility and had decided to try and convince John's parents the truth of what had happened.
It wasn't easy. Initially both parents got quite angry and threatened to ground the apparent John. It was only when Amy began sobbing in despair that first Anne (John and Katie's mother) became convinced. Alan, John's father came around when the apparent Katie was able to explain high school algebra to him.
When the doorbell rang and a once more dishevelled looking woman was there in one of Anne's shirts who backed up the body swapping story then the parents truly believed the tale and set about finding their 7 year old daughter who had last been seen in a 28 year old male body.
They decided to split up. Roger, happier in a pair of jeans and running shoes that belonged to Anne left with Alan. They would search the bars and stand alone shops in the town. John, now as a 7 year old girl, went with Anne back to the mall armed with Roger's description of his old body and what it was wearing. Amy would stay at the house in case Katie returned.
