Sitting alone didn't turn out to be such a great idea. It seemed every single male at the party made a bee-line to Matthew. Within 5 minute Matthew had to politely decline 5 times "No, I don't want another drink" or "No I don't want a dance" Mind you she ignored the single strong cramp when a tall suntanned guy asked her for a dance. She vocalised to Kim "You are going too far"
That got a response of 3 strong cramps.
Another person approached. Somewhat relieved Matthew recognised that it was a woman in a bikini top and a grass skirt. "Hi there. I'm Angela, You visited my tour desk earlier"
"Oh of course" Matthew recognised her now. Her hair had been tied up earlier, now it was loose and long. "Ma....Kim" She held out her hand to shake. Did girls greet relative strangers with a handshake?"
"I see you are getting a lot of attention. I thought if I sat with you it might keep the predators away for a little while"
"Ah.. Yes. Thank you"
"It can be a bit awkward. They all see you as a single woman even though you are with your partner. But they don't know that. So you have to be tolerant"
"Yes. It is a bit awkward"
"Did you discuss with your boyfriend how far you should go?"
"No actually. She was a bit too eager to change. We didn't discuss anything"
"Oh excuse me I apologise. I didn't know your partner was a girl. Forgive me. I should not have assumed"
Matthew realised her mistake For a second Matthew considered explaining her situation but then embarrassment made her act as if she was the real Kim. Or at least what he hoped the real Kim would have said. "What did I say? Matthew is very much a man. I'm just a bit confused by everything"
"Yes if you didn't discuss your changes it can be a bit awkward. Can I make a suggestion?"
"Sure?"
"We'll I would suggest that your Matthew would appreciate if you did have a dance. He would want the experience of cladding your body as you danced. And I must admit he is gorgeous. People generally regret what they didn't do. My advice is to behave as if you were single and enjoy yourself. The voyeur in your boyfriend would appreciate it. It would give him the full experience. I'm guessing it would be what he wants"
As Angela said this Matthew felt a single cramp in her arm. Clearly Kim agreed.
"I feel just a bit uncomfortable"
"Perhaps there is a particular man here who you might be more comfortable with. A couple from another room are also here. The husband is wearing his wife. I believe she is now a white silk shirt. He would be your perfect compliment and has indicated that they would like to meet other couples in a similar situation. Did you read the brochures I gave you?"
Again Matthew felt a strong single cramp in her arm. Kim wanted Matthew to say yes. Matthew found herself vocalising Kim's wish. "Yes"
"And?"
Again Matthew felt a strong single cramp. He considered what Angela had said and Kim's response. Clearly she wanted to dance. Maybe if she complied with this wish she would be allowed to leave the party. To be perfectly honest she was curious to know how it felt to dance in her current body. If the other couple were in the same situation then there would not be any undue expectations. Matthew relented "I'll try"
"Okay!" Angela smiled "I'll send him over. Remember white silk shirt. Don't say no"
