While the pandemic was still going on, with more than 57% of the US population fully vaccinated, it was enough to say that things were progressing to a definitive end, even with the Omicron Variant. With Animalia in general, that would mean considerably larger Christmas parties, or in some cases, more than one.
---
The most family friendly one was at Kat's Klub, and featured the most children and teens under sixteen. Fortunately, there were plenty of room to both eat a large "Christmas dinner" and dance to Christmas music, and besides, most people were planning on opening their presents at home.
---
The one that was the "classiest" was at Fennec Hall, as Nicole and Joanne's mansion was unofficially known, and it was considered a big success, despite Lars' ex-wife Morgan "crashing" the party and causing quite a bit of a nuisance. This time, though, she was more focused on Philip and Joanne, but was still rather miffed about what her ex-husband had done, even though Joanne had made it clear that hers and Philip's relationship was clearly built off of more than just "love and money". Afterward, it was clear that she was becoming the archetypal "toxic ex", though both Philip and Lars didn't really know yet if they needed to get a restraining order but kept the option open if they needed it.

The most popular Christmas party, and ironically the hardest to get into, was the one at the Meat Market. While part of this was due in no small part to the Christmas-themed costumes the employees were wearing (mainly red satin "swimsuits" trimmed with white fur), it was also because of the more "potent" versions of sparkling wine, eggnog, and similar alcoholic beverages. But what made it the hardest party to get into was the simple fact that almost all of the people that were turned away had tried to get in with false IDs, and these people were taking their frustrations out on social media. Fortunately, there were plenty of other people who responded to the "unfair" rants with clever comebacks, so most people who read them, whether on the Animalia Website or elsewhere, knew not to take them seriously.

There was also a new, Christmas-themed, champagne available at all parties that Miss Juliet had just finished for the occasion even though both her and her girls, as well as Juan, had to go back to her estate in France, both to look over the planned colony infrastructure, and to meet one of the newest members of the French colony (the French Government were still working on the name for it).
It was no secret, at least at the estate, that Violet's family were well known for breeding horses on their land. But it was during Spookyville that she did fulfil her promise and sent photos of herself with a unicorn. Though it wasn't a real one, it was one that had garnered a lot of attention both locally and online for a while.
By some means, one of the horses on the estate had been born with pure white fur with no markings anywhere, as well as a pure white mane and tail. This one had been Violet's favorite ever since the foal was born, and she often rode him about after he was fully grown, generating attention as a "near-unicorn". Once things had gotten set up for uplifting Animalians, Violet had paid for him, and now he was on tier with Samson and the other stallion Animalians. While it was clear that he was wearing, in the picture Violet sent Miss Juliet, a false unicorn horn, it was also clear that Miss Juliet would be welcoming of him whether or not he was a real unicorn.

Another thing that was going on was a Christmas celebration at Heiya Island. While almost everyone who lived there was confused by it, there were more than enough people and/or Animalians who were able to help them understand it. While the Quasi-Raccoon Cuties' coverage of the party made it clear from the get-go that this was indeed a Christmas party, there were enough Asian/Japanese elements to prevent the celebration from being a carbon copy.

Altogether, there was plenty of fun to be had and in many different ways as well. Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.
