There was a flash of light. When the light faded, Nick and Clark looked at each other. Their eyes widened. Nothing had happened. They were still toddler boys. Toddler boys in wet diapers, after the scare that they had been given.
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” a female voice said. Nick and Clark looked at Wes. Their jaws dropped. A beautiful woman stood in front of them. She was wearing Wes’s clothes, so it was easy to tell what had happened. It was even easy to tell why it had happened. The remnants of the gun were scattered across the floor. Wes scowled at them. “Why’d that thing blow up?” she demanded.
“It wathn’t weady,” Nick said. “I wath thill tething.”
“Well, you’re gonna need to fix it so I can get back to normal,” Wes snapped.
“Not thith young,” Nick said.
“Right.” Wes sighed. She walked over to a nearby mirror on the wall and admired her reflection. “Hmm.” She flipped her now long hair over one shoulder. “Damn, I’m a sexy lady.” Wes looked over at Nick and Clark. “Y’know what? I think this might work even better for getting back at the chief. He’s married, but he cheats on her all the time.”
“You want to theduthe yow both?” Nick asked, stunned. Wes shrugged.
“Sounds like fun.”
“You don’t wanna change back?” Clark asked.
“You two aren’t getting out of your punishment just because Daddy’s now Mommy,” Wes said. She looked down at herself. “I’ll need something sexier if I’m gonna get the chief to let his guard down.” She looked up at Nick and Clark with a grin. “All right, boys, back to the store!”
“I don’t know if thath a good idea,” Nick said slowly.
“Why not?”
“I don’t know what elthe the gun did to you when it ekthploded.”
“Eh. It’ll be fine.” Wes began to gather all the items she had bought when they were at the store earlier. “I need to return this stuff anyways. Good thing the store accepts returns on clearance.”
“But Weth-” Clark started. Wes glared at him.
“No buts. And…call me Jess for now. Yeah.” Wes, or rather, Jess, smiled. “I’m your Mommy. Jess.”
“Jeth, we wet,” Clark mumbled. Jess looked at their visibly yellowed diapers and laughed.
“Aw, Mommy’s little boys got scawed! Okay, Mommy will put all these things in the car, then change you, then we can go to the store.” Jess left the house, humming cheerfully. Clark turned to Nick.
“Do you weawy think the gun did thomething elthe to Jeth?” he asked. Nick shrugged.
“Maybe.” He looked at the door. “Aftew how much Weth wiked becoming Jeth, I thowta hope it did.”
