Jenny decided to just wander, as scared of this new world as she was she needed to know to what extent her life was fucked.
The signs were daunting they were literally everywhere; she could only see three buildings on this street that didn’t have some variation of the sign. Out of about thirty businesses she could only see three that allowed her kind in to them.
As she walked she had to adjust her shirt a couple times. It kept riding up, other then the fact that the shirt was clearly not made for someone as well endowed as her, her breasts annoyingly swayed with each step. She didn’t know how but she would need to solve this problem eventually, she had some of the biggest breasts she had ever seen and no support as all.
She tried to ignore that issue though as she still didn’t know much about her situation.
The next thing she noticed was that there weren’t any lizard people walking around right now. Their weren’t many people at all but there weren’t any lizard people at all.
“What is going on?” Jenny Whispered to herself still not used to the raspy-ness of her voice, it still sounded like her old voice just maybe with a moderate sore throat but it was now her natural voice.
She made it to one of the only stores without a “no lizard” sign in the window. It looked like a pet supply store. She didn’t get much time to look at the items before a man walked up to the door and opened it.
“Where’s your owner?” the man said with a little irritation behind it.
Jenny looked around to see if he was talking to her, he was looking at her but she was not used to people be so up front with their hostility “wha- what do you mean?”
“No owner no entry get away from here you pathetic scale scalp!” the man replied getting angry and punctuating his insult with slamming the door shut on her.
Jenny was shocked; she was trying to process what he just said to her before she began walking away.
She was not going to push her luck and she only wanted some food right now anyways.
She continued on her way to the other shop on the street that allowed Lizards.
This one was a dinner. It was interesting to Jenny seeing an old timey dinner like in the movies but this was the real thing. She walked to the door and as she was about to open the door to look at the menu she saw a scowling waitress who pointed to the side of the building where there was a sign with a lizard and an arrow pointing around the corner. She nodded and walked over that way.
She saw a window that opened as she walked to the side.
“The waitress looked out the window and as Jenny approached she said, “Yeah what do you want?”
“I would like some food, can I get a menu?” Jenny said timidly.
“A menu, you can’t read! And even if you could you probably don’t have the money for anything on the menu. The only deal you get is for $.50 you get what I will give you.”
Jenny was about to ask what she would give her but then her stomach began to protest this course of action before she nodded and pulled out her money. She passed the girl a dollar.
The girl smiled and closed the window before walking out the back door.
“You stay there until I am done, I don’t want to catch your germs, who knows you might even be feral.” The girl said as she walked to the dumpster that was locked.
She un-locked it and pulled out two bags that were on top try to avoid getting any grim on her hands. Finally she turned around and tossed the bags to Jenny.
“There you go, two Togo meals. Now make like a tree and leave.” She laughed as she as she locked the dumpster and walked back towards the door.
“wha, I can’t eat this. That is gross, and you also forgot my change!” Jenny finally protested.
“What change!” the girl turned to glare at Jenny “you gave me a dollar; I know you are stupid but I said $.50 and you get what I give ya. You gave me twice what I said so I gave you twice what I would have given ya. Now take it and go before I change my mind!” she walked back into the dinner ignoring Jenny any farther.
Frustrated Jenny was about to walk away before her stomach chimed in again expressing how desperately hungry she was. Conflicted and overwhelmed Jenny grabbed the two bags before sniffling and walking away tears mostly silently streaming down her face.
