"Turquoise." Martha said.
"Wonderful choice!" The doctor began to write on his clipboard, underlining and circling things, along with notes. "Well then, let's begin shall we?" Jackie pushed through the other girls. "It's about damn time, jeez."
Dr. Moritz laughed a bit at Jackie's persistence. The turquoise door opened with a magnetic click, and from there was a series of steps leading down into the laboratory. The doctor led the girls down into the lab, with the door sealing behind them once more.
"Mr. Moritz?" Kennedy asked. "Yes Kennedy?"
"What exactly do you guys do here? What is all this for?" Dr. Moritz chuckled as they arrived at the opening to a turquoise lit room. The only light was from the large tubes with bright liquid inside, illuminating the turquoise color. Dr. Moritz opened a panel and pressed a large red button. The rest of the lights came on in the room. From there, the girls could see a large scale medical gurney, more shaped like a table. And other liquids and glasses all shelved by color. "We specialize in human hormone adaption." Dr. Moritz said as the room lit up.
"What's that?" Jackie cut in. Dr. Moritz didn't laugh this time, he showed more annoyance with Jackie's common disrespect and cutting in. "Well, it's what gives humans different kinds of abilities. Like your height." As he gestured at Kennedy. "Or such as your strength!" As he nodded at Martha. Jackie nodded in understandment, and didn't say anything after that.
"Now, Kennedy and Jackie, you girls follow me up to the observation booth." Dr. Moritz said. "Martha, you just wait there until I return." Martha nodded her head as Dr. Moritz turned around, ushering the girls up another flight of stairs, and into a cinema room. She looked around at the lab equipment in awe. She heard footsteps come down the steps, and out came Dr. Moritz. "Are you ready to begin Martha?" The doctor asked. Martha again, just nodded her head. Dr. Moritz took her by the hand, and led her to the table gurney. From there, Martha could see a large window panel from the upstairs that looked into a cinema lounge. There, she could see Jackie and Kennedy standing, watching her.
"Hop up on the table here, Martha." Dr. Moritz said with a sharp tone. Martha lifted herself up onto the cold metal gurney table. Her skirt was noticeably above her knees, as she tried to cross her legs. Dr. Moritz continued sorting through the colored vases of liquid on the shelf. Martha again looked up to see the glass panel. She saw Kennedy waving at her, jumping up and down. Jackie was just watching her, with her arms crossed.
"Ah! Here it is." The doctor proclaimed as he walked back to Martha. "Now I need you to lay down on the table, Martha." Martha did so, and realized how large the table was compared to her. She didn't think the gurney straps would fit, if the doctor dared to use them. "Just relax your arms and legs, Martha. We're just about to begin." Martha didn't have time to relax her limbs before Dr. Moritz was grabbing her arms and lifting them up to the gurney cuffs. He slipped both her wrists into the leather straps and tightened them. He moved down and did the same to her ankles. Martha was stuck looking up, the only thing she had the will to do left.
The doctor dipped a syringe into an acidy blue mixture and began to suck it up with the syringe. Martha gazed at him as he did this. The doctor lifted back up and walked over to Martha's table. "Are we ready Martha?" Martha took a large gulp. "yea." She stuttered. Dr. Moritz nodded, and reached for the bottom of her crop top, pulling it up. Martha was confused. Her heart began to pump fast. Dr. Moritz lifted her crop top far enough to reveal Martha's left breast. A small, A-Cup breast. He poked the needle of the syringe into her breast. Martha whimpered a small cry, but held back any tears she might let out. The doctor didn't acknowledge this. He pushed the syringe in, and injected her minute breast with the blue liquid. Martha was panting.
"There. Just a poke!" Dr. Moritz exclaimed. Martha awaited for something to happen. "It'll take a minute." The doctor said. Martha glanced at him, but didn't say anything. She just watched.
