Both Michael and Sara perked up when they heard some voices outside the house. They peeked out the window to see the kids getting out of their 16 year old son, Andrew's car.
Sara turned to MIchael "Both of us can't stay in here all night....Let's show the kids the medallion!"
Michael figured they would have to show the kids eventually as they walked downstairs.
The whole family met up in the living room as there was silence after seeing mom and dad in younger bodies.
9 year old Kimmy was the first to speak up as she ran up to mom and dad, "What happend to you? You both look a few years younger?"
Tara and Andrew walked up confused as Tara said, "Yea....what's going on?" As she examined Mom and Dad's bodies.
Mom and Dad smirked at each other as Mom started talking, "My friend Patty gave us this magic medallion...it has powers to change people!" Mom pointed to the medallion around her neck as the kids all looked at it.
Tara asked, "How does it work?"
Mom reached into her purse to pull out the instructions. Dad interupted, "This medallion came with instructions?"
Mom giggled as she nodded, "Of course silly!" She replied to Dad as she started reading the instrucitons,
"Welcome to Magic Medallion where your adventures begin!..........When using the medallion make sure the setting on the back is correct! The setting will determine who or what the wearer will morph into."
Andrew cleared his throat after hearing Mom read the first part of the isntructions, "...Did I just hear you say WHO or WHAT?"
Mom nodded, "There are a few different settings on the medallion...Your father and I used the clothing setting so when we each wore the medallion and touched an article of clothing, we turned into the last body that wore the clothes!" Mom flipped the medallion around and showed the kids the tiny "Shirt" representing the clothing setting.
"What's the other settings?" Andew asked as mom continued,
"The next setting is a picture of a "body"....if the medallion is on the "body" setting, it turns the wearer into whatever they select."
Tara asked, "What are the options? Mom scanned the options as she giggled, "Hmmm....you can choose age, race, size and gender?" Mom looks up giggling, "That could sure get interesting...."
Andrew then said, "What other settings are there?"
"There are two more settings....One is an "animal" setting and the other is an "object."
Kimmy smiled big as she said, "Animal? I can turn into a puppy?"
Everybody laughed as Mom replied, "I guess so honey.....the medallion has endless options it seems like!"
