Stepping through the doors kevin found himself in a waiting room of sorts. Not the doctors office sort, mind you, but a waiting room nonetheless. A collection of tables dotted the room, at each sat an assortment of other aparent 'customers.' The group was mostly what one would expect. One part bros who'd clearly tagged along for the ride on the NFT craze, one part computer nerds who relished the idea of using their software skills to change the world, along with a small smattering of a few others.

Walking in, Kevin mindlessly peeled the bannana he'd been give and took a small bite. Not sure where to start he approached one of the many tables where three of the participants sat. At the center laid three empty bannana peels. Evidentily all three had been given the same 'treat' as him. He took another bite.
"Hey bro, you gonna finish that?" Asked one of the table's occupants . The man was nothing short of a stereotype. Bulging muscles, clean cut blond hair and a tank top to show off his guns - the man was a classic NFT bro.
"Uh - yea I guess" Kevin replied, thinking it odd a stranger would ask for his half finished banana.
"I get it bro, those banana's are fucking delicious." The man said, reaching his hand out to shake Kevin's "The name's Matt"
"Kevin"
"ya know, normally I'm pretty 'meh' on bannanas. My girlfriend went on this 90% banana fad diet and tried to force it on me too. Needless to say, after a few days of the things I got pretty tired of them. These however .....there's just something about them. Something so delicious!" Matt said with excitement.
Kevin furrowed his brow. Enjoying a banana was one thing, but the apparent passion Matt had for the fruit was a bit...odd.
"Yea I can't help but agree" piped in another at the table. Short, thin and of east Asian descent this guy was the apparent opposite of Matt. Most like from the 'computer science' branch of the participants. "Oddly enough, the first couple bites tasted just like any normal banana but then on the third...something changed. The flavors just...burst. I've never eaten anything like it."
"You guys serious?" Kevin asked "This tastes nothing special...its just a banana. I'm not even sure why these NFT guys gave it to me. I mean...if you are gonna give us refreshments a single banana is an odd choice. I gotta say.."
Kevin's words were interrupted by a loud sniffing sound. As Kevin was talking Matt had steadily scooted closer and closer to him. By this point Matt's nose was inches from the banana. Eyes closed and lost in a strange reverie; Matt again inhaled - the banana's delicious scent filling his nose.
"Dude what the fuck!" Kevin said, pushing the jock away. A bit taken a back, Matt's face flushed with embarrassment and confusion. It was as if he didn't realize exactly what he was doing.
"Uh, sorry. I-I don't know what came over me" Matt said, rubbing the side of his head "I just- I just really wanted more banannas!"
"Is it really that good?" Kevin asked
"Y-yea, it is." Matt replied, "Take another bite, I swear you'll share our opinion."
With a shrug, Kevin figured he had nothing to lose. He'd already wasted enough money on this stupid venture, might as well at least enjoy the apparently delicious banana that came with it.
Bringing the fruit to his mouth, he took a bite.
