"What about that scrawny human male over there?" Came a rough sounding voice, deep and gravelly.
"He's part of a bonded pair, might be hard to deal with if separated. We have other choices over.." A more refined male voice was droning.
"No. Humans make good base stock, and he won't care anymore once I'm done with him. I want this one." The voice said, a little more commanding.
"Do you want the female as well? I can offe..."
"Since when have I ever bought a female off your lot, you piss brained elf? Just give me the human, and we'll be done. Your pickings have gotten meager lately. I might just have to go to Rixstaris next time." The deeper voice growled.
"As you wish." There was a snap of the fingers.
Jeff looked over to Amber as two elves in leather armor came up to the cage. He tried to hold on to her, but he was soon being dragged out, her wordless sobs trailing after him.
"Let go of me you bastards." He flailed and felt his elbow connect with a face and something crunched, maybe a nose breaking. He broke free of their grip and bolted for the cage to grab Amber.
Something that felt like a log slammed across his chest and he dropped to the ground. A giant green foot landed right on his stomach, pinning him as easily as he could have a child. That foot was huge, the nails yellow and sharp, leather straps around the middle and up the leg holding some thick fur in place on the lower leg. The owner of the foot leaned over and peered down at him. His face was human-like but green and bestial, with an upturned nose and thick lipped mouth with tusks that together seemed almost muzzle like without protruding from the face. Thick black hair in a mohawk on his head, and a long black braided beard at the chin.
He held a hand big enough to engulf Jeff's entire head in front of his face and wagged a thick finger in front of him. "So this one has some fight in him. Good. I might get more than a cook out of this one. Take him and put him in my tent. The steel chains I think."
Two more of the orcs came up and roughly lifted Jeff between them, one massive hand on each arm. His feet didnt't even touch the ground as he was hauled out of the building. He got his first sight of the area. They had been in a stone fortress, not huge, but obviously enough for what it was being used as. A few camps dotted the are around the building, some refined, others nomadic. They were headed to one camp filled with tents made from leather and hide, crude looking but sturdy. It was filled with giant green skinned, hirsute orcs. Each of them a wall of powerful muscle. Even the scrawniest was bigger than pretty much every human Jeff knew. They were all male as well, many wearing only boots and loincloths. Some not even that, massive, thick green cocks flopping between their legs.
Armor and weapons were around, on racks or being tended to, but none was worn except by the two carrying him. Seems they didn't expect an attack.
He was taken to the largest tent, which was big enough for even the orcs to stand up in. A single large chair sat in back at the head of an area covered with furs and pelts, a flat low table sat off to the side, and on the other, a sturdy wooden framed rack with chains hanging off of it, each of a different metal. Some with engravings and even gems set into it.
They locked him into a set of thick, heavy steel chains, the cuffs engraved with a rough looking script he couldn't read. They seemed like they'd be too big for him, but as they snapped shut, the script glowed and they shrank to fit him. They were still ponderously heavy, and even worse, fit so perfectly he would have no chance of slipping out.
His guards gave him one last look and left the tent. Jeff sighed and slumped to the ground, or rather the wolf pelt on the ground under him and curled into a ball. At least he was going to keep himself from crying.
