With 2022 a little more than a week old, there was already quite a bit to plan for, especially with some new 'trends' going on.

Lars' ex-wife, Morgan, clearly had no intention to leave Animalia since she had rented a cheap apartment in Lyre. Both Lars and Philip were really annoyed at it, but one guy who had been at the Christmas party had an unusual idea.
"I've seen the way Morgan acted before." said the guy, "Usually by spoiled brats who believe they're entitled to more than people are willing to give them."
"So, what should we do?" asked Philip, keeping the 'restraining order' option open.
"I say that we should get her a rabbit conversion." said the guy, much to Lars' and Philip's surprise, but the guy continued to explain, "First, we should not tell her that she's going to be a rabbit, just a conversion. Second, foxes are known to prey on rabbits, even fennec foxes, so you can intimidate her into good behavior as needed. Finally, we can subject her to Animalia's 'four punishment system' because it does a surprisingly good job at reforming people.
"Not that those aren't good ideas," said Joanne, who had overheard indirectly due to her large ears, "but what should the fourth 'punishment' be?"
"We'll know when we get there." said the guy.

The newest trend in Animalia was overweight people coming to Animalia and its colonies for conversion/double dosing. While normally Animalia would be glad to welcome them, this new surge was causing a bit of a housing problem. However, this was also causing a surge in new ideas, especially in Mieni Atoll and Heiya Island.
Mieni's idea for the housing problem was an underwater 'village' of sorts, with houses made out of "artificial reef" concrete. While this would mean that it would be only open to aquatic species, it would free up some space on the Atoll proper.
Heiya Island, while mainly focusing on preparing for the Year of the Tiger, had their own plan. They planned to have a few apartments built in what was now being unofficially determined as Heiya Islands capital city, as well as a few 'farming villages', since it was part of any new Animalia colony to become self-sufficient.
Dino City, however, was having a bit more of a problem. There was already a bit of a zoning issue due to the size of most Dinotopians, but this new surge in 'immigrants' (for lack of a better term) had caused the issue to become quite a bit bigger, in more ways than one. A temporary solution was agreed on to build some more, sized up, apartment buildings while a long-term solution was agreed on, but this might not seem to be enough. Fortunately, almost everyone that was coming to Dino City also had plenty of ideas for new businesses catering to Dinotopians, such as scale cleaning services and all-you-can-eat meat/salad buffets.

There were a few people who weren't quite so annoyed by this surge of new people.
While Maggie was still a little miffed that Miss Fabina had been invited to this new discussion, she wasn't about to turn her away. Because of the success of the confidence classes that Major Black, 'Slim' Simon, and the Bald Bull had created, which mainly catered to male Animalians, it had been decided to add on a class that focused on female Animalians. 'Mandy' certainly wasn't complaining, since she had plenty to teach the new girls. One thing that Maggie was adamant on was the simple fact that nobody would be forced into stripping if they didn't want to.
