Hmm, you wonder, maybe it works on animals too...
Approaching your old dog, who was sleeping in the kitchen, you point the remote at him and press "Rewind"
At first it seems as though nothing was happening, but slowly, his hair began to shorten, his ears perked up, his tail shot into the air and began wagging, his body lost it's flabby outer layer, and muscles started filling his chest.
But as he started looking his best, the dog began to lose weight again, his muscles retracted into his body and limbs leaving them short and skinny. Next he began to shrink, his body got shorter and shorter, his legs got smaller and smaller. His body lost even more mass, as he passed through adolescence and into puppy-hood. He shrank even more and his bones shifted. Puppy fat began filling his joints again.
I released the button before he was a newborn again, and he woke up and stared up at me. The dog (Now a puppy) was full of energy now, which he couldn't explain to himself, he also seemed to have lost control of his bladder. A small yellow puddle began forming on the kitchen tile. The puppy looked ashamed and embarrassed. I picked the tiny puppy up and carried him over the sink, reaching below I pulled out some old newspapers and spread them across the floor. I then set the puppy on them and walked out into the living room again.
There I saw my goldfish, Goldy, how original, but anyway, he wasn't looking to good, but I could fix that. I pointed the remote at the fish bowl and pressed rewind once. The fish immediately perked up and began swimming happily around the bowl, which was clean again. Apparently the remote affected the glass bowl too.
Walking away I smiled as I climbed the stairs to find, my cat, Whiskers. She was sun-bathing in my parent's room, my parents didn't like her sleeping there so I shook her to wake her up. She doesn't like being woken up in the middle of a nap. I jumped back and waited for her to pounce on me. As she bent her legs and hissed, I pressed and held the "Rewind" button again. As she jumped she lost mass quickly, and fell to the ground still shrinking to a tiny kitten. I didn't stop there though. Like the TV, I wanted to see how far she would go. I waited and watched as her hair grew shorter until it vanished, her eyes were glued shut as she was blind. I waited some more and she shrunk to a tiny little bald newborn kitten and i released the button. Spinning the remote in my hand and blowing on the top, like a stupid cowboy from a movie I walk away, looking for my next victim...
