"Ty," said Dustin, "you said you weren't going to hurt me, and then you decided you would! How could you do all of that to me?"
"I didn't really hurt you! And I changed you back! Except for the pussy and the pregnancy."
"It doesn't matter that you changed me back, Ty! Look, we both know that Dad beat you and Mom let him. Aren't you doing the same thing?"
"I changed most of you back, Dustin. Don't make me...."
"And when Dad beat you, you eventually healed, right? You got better. Does that make it okay?"
"Well, no, it doesn't. They were just bullies to me and.... Dustin. I see your point. I guess I'm sorry." Which was a big thing for Ty to do. He had lots of power. Nobody could force him to say "I'm sorry." No parents were around to make him be nice to others. He had to come up with the idea himself by learning to empathize with other people's feelings, and miraculously considering how bratty some kids can be, he did.
"It... it sounds like you mean it, Ty. You have to. If you didn't mean it you could just wish me to not care instead."
"Yeah..." said Ty. "How can I make up for it?"
"Change me back?" asked Dustin. "Change me all the way?"
"Sure, I'll... No, wait. I can't do that. Dustin, there's a baby inside you. I know how mean Mom and Dad were to me. I'm not going to be mean to the baby by getting rid of it. That's worse than beating it up."
"But isn't this, like, abortion? It's okay to get rid of it, women have the right to."
"But they don't have powers. I do. I can do other things. I was already doing them... you know, pregnant women don't get morning sickness the night after conceiving. You only did because I advanced it to around two months. But anyway, I'm not getting rid of it, because I can do other things."
"How about some parents?"
Ty had decided to be genuinely nice to Dustin, but he had to do just one more thing to him--make it so he didn't mind so much. After that, he said "They're fine. They don't remember anything, they're not in pain or anything like that, and I can bring them back any time I want."
Dustin thought it over and because of the little tweak to his mind Ty made, said "Maybe you're right, Ty. I can't expect you to just bring back people who hurt you, not right now, anyway. But you have to do something. How long can we survive without parents? Who's going to make dinner and buy us clothes and things like that?"
Ty replied "Don't worry, I'll take care of everything. Making dinner takes like two seconds with my powers." He concentrated and scrambled eggs and juice appeared in front of them.
"You'll get tired of it," said Dustin. "And there's still the baby problem."
"I told you I'd take care of everything. Just wait a moment...."
