Kaitlin couldn't help but be impressed by what she had witnessed. Going from her late 30s to her early 30s certainly felt fantastic.
"No wonder Laura bailed last night," she whispered. "I would have too if I suddenly found myself 30 years old again." Kaitlin chuckled at her statement, realizing she was for all intents and purposes.
"Still," Kaitlin thought. "How could she not be more careful with the dice? I mean seriously, if those dice had rolled again while she was driving she could of ended up back in her teens. Well, that won't happen to me."
As Kaitlin now reached under the desk, she now carefully began to search for the die. Finally feeling the die, Kaitlin now began to pull the die out from underneath the desk, only for it to tip over.
"Oops!"
Thirty two years you have walked this Earth. Now this number is but twenty six. Each roll of the die shall return more of what you have lost.
Kaitlin shuddered as she now gripped the die tightly. As the orbs now began to float off the young woman, she could feel her clothes shift on her youthening body. Kaitlin skirt slipped on her hips as the slight amount of extra weight now melted away. As the now twenty something honey haired woman stood, she felt her cheeks flush in embarrassment.
"Twenty six," she whispered. "Damn it! Smooth one Kaitlin, you just joined Laura in the intern pool."
Sighing Kaitlin now carefully placed her die on the desk as she picked up her hand mirror. Gazing at her reflection she could see the young woman's face, her face from when she had started working at the office. Kaitlin face was devoid of any faults, her eyes sparkling with youthful energy framed by beautiful honey blond hair. Thankfully her outfit still fit her well enough, her only issue was the fact she looked like an eager young woman looking to make a good first impression.
"Kaitlin what happened!"
Kaitlin turned, noting Laura had returned with coffee in hand. The young brunette staring slack jawed at her now youthful coworker.
"I had an accident," she replied sheepishly.
"And you were getting on my case about securing the dice better," Laura smirked. Kaitlin frowned, realizing karma had just smacked her dead in the face for her earlier statement.
"Can we just lock these things away til work is over," Kaitlin groaned. "At the rate were going we'll be spending our lunch break in drivers ed."
Laura chuckled, taking out the box before securing Kaitlin die carefully inside. "Lets just hope their are no more accidents," Laura said, handing Kaitlin her coffee. "We have alot of work to do."
