"Don't eat the fruit"
The travel warning from the government had said that people had gone missing over the local fruit. Given this was a developing country the argument went that this was due to fruit being laced with some drug and the locals taking tourists hostage. However no demands came for a ransom. Most of the tourists continued to visit the remote villages of Thailand ignoring the warnings and most of them got home.
This is the story of one of the victim's, although being a victim is a relative term. Chris had gone with his family to Thailand, the women in the Bangkok were hot. They weren't too black, Chris didn't like African women. If that made him a racist then so be it. Thai women thought, they were hot with their silky black hair, they had small chests but they were at least a handful, bubble butts and fit bodies.
Why would he want to go to some strange village where the women were less hot? His parents had been volunteers for their church in Asia and Africa before going back home. They wanted him to see where he had been conceived. Did that matter, he was born in the USA. As the tour guide was telling them in bad English to stay with the group when Chris was drawn away from the group,
He overheard the guide mention something about a fertility goddess that the tribe still worshipped, but wasn’t paying much attention. As he was about to snap another photo of a traditional bamboo hut, he felt a tugging on his shirt. He turned and saw an adorable little girl wearing some tattered wrappings. She wasn’t saying anything, likely because she didn’t speak english, but she seemed to be beckoning him to follow her. Wanting to get a few more pictures for his social media, he followed the little girl as she led him into a hut. It was clean inside, for a hut, with nothing inside save for a bowl of fruit in a corner. The little girl ran over and pulled a banana out of the bunch, handing it to Chris with excitement.
