Roger wasn’t going to be home until 5 so there was no hurry for Maureen to hurry back to Liz’s house. Maureen had made an appointment with a travel agent (to discuss an upcoming holiday for 2pm which Liz was now going to have to fill, but that was the only appointment either of them had that day.
Luckily they found that Kirsty kept some old clothes in her childhood room, which happened to be the room that Liz had slept in the other night. The women found a bra and panties that fitted the younger Maureen. With Liz’s permission she wore the sand coloured utility skirt and white top that Liz had arrived in. Liz agreed that it made sense as they could not risk Roger finding a stash of Liz’s clothes once he arrived home. Maureen loved that the outfit showed off her now slim figure and long lean legs. It felt really good to be young again. She did not mind at all that she now had only B-cup breasts, She just loved that they did not sag.
Liz put on the now slightly too large top and jeans that Maureen had been wearing. The women then spent time going through Maureen’s wardrobe to find an outfit for Liz to wear to the theatre. They ended up choosing a brown wrap dress that both women were happy with.
Maureen had clearly had her hair done for her mother in-law’s funeral so it was agreed that that Liz would just explain to Roger that she had had her hair done for the evening.
Liz could feel the difference between the two versions of Maureen that she had become. Currently her waist was thinner than her hips. She was still overweight but not as much so as earlier. She was confident that she would be able to dress up this body enough to appear presentable at the theatre. That though reminded her to swap rings and jewellery with Maureen. Once she slipped Maureen’s wedding band onto her hand she once more felt that she could now pass as Mrs Roger Manning.
The women spent the rest of the morning with Maureen briefing Liz on her recent interactions with Ginny and Paul until Maureen was satisfied that Liz would not give the game away. They then discussed Liz’s impending visit to the travel agency. After lunch Maureen told Liz “I think I’ve told you as much as I can. If you will give me your car key’s I’ll get out of here. Sometimes Roger come’s home early, especially if we are going out. Best if I’m not around”
Liz reluctantly handed over her handbag inside of which were the keys to her Mazda and house.
“Would you mind if I went for a drive? Possibly best if the neighbours don’t see a young girl turn up at your house in your car. I’m thinking I should wait until dark before I go there”
“I suppose” replied Liz. “Where would you go?”
“Not far. It would just have to be somewhere that Kirsty isn’t known. I wouldn’t want to run into any of her friends. I’ll return the car with a full tank of petrol”
“Just be careful. Remember at the moment you don’t have a licence”
“That’s a thought. You never know what I might need. If you don’t mind I might just grab some cash from my purse. I’ll also search Kirsty’s room to see if I can find an old ID, just in case. Then I’ll leave you to it Mrs Manning or should I call you Mum?”
“Well take my bag and my phone. Don’t answer unless you see Maureen on the caller ID. I’ll see you in the morning. Wish me luck. I’ll give you a ring and fill you in on the travel agent visit”
