Stephan had just finished introducing the two teens as the Madame Illusia stepped on to the stage, approaching the two boys.
“The tall young man is Jeff and the shorter one is Danny. Please see how you can help them out, Madame!” he said.
“Ahh, yes. I see that these two boys are friends from school. So, you know your friend very well, I assume?” the Madame said to Jeff.
“Oh, yes! I have known him since we were in the first grade!” Jeff nodded. It’s just that I have grown, and I went to the gym a lot. I worked out and participated in sports while Danny played video games.” Jeff explained.
“Oh, yes, I see that. Danny has become a little… Pudgy! But I can fix that!” the Madame announced.
There was a murmur which came from the crowd.
“I can fix poor Danny, who had gained weight and who always lacked confidence because he was shorter, out of shape and less attractive. But it will come at a price!”
The crowd erupted again.
Danny became worried. Was this really such a good idea? What was this old woman going to do to him? He glanced over at Jeff and gave him a very concerned look. He wanted to get off the stage, but Jeff was just smiling.
“Jeff, please tell me.” The Madame said loudly, as she turned to face the taller boy. “Do you have a girlfriend?”

The crowd erupted in loud applause. The people in the stands wanted to see that. Jeff was grinning from ear to ear. Danny was very worried.

Then, it happened. The Madame took a step back from Danny and she raised up her arms, shouting some verses spoken in an unknown, gypsy language which nobody could understand. Ina blink of an eye, Danny’s clothes disappeared and the boy was left standing buck naked on the stage.

A white cloud of thick, heavy smoke engulfed Danny, who started coughing and choking for a few minutes until the smoke around him lifted.
