Your Dad answers the door while You, Sonya, and your Mom head into the other room to try and figure out what size tshirt actually will fit comfortably enough around your boobs to not squeeze them quite so tightly. When he opens the door, a few people in coats are standing there with what appears to be the main figure if the group, standing just a little bit in front of them. The man extends a hand and your Dad shakes it.
"Good evening, or rather good morning seeing as it is a new day. I am a representative of the magic society. We are here because we detected an unusual influx of magical power a little bit ago, and so we came over right away to investigate whether something had happened." Explains the man.
"Well, my daughter is already a registered magic user, perhaps you are talking about her?" Suggests your Dad. But the man shakes his head. "I am well acquainted with your daughter, Karina. And I can say for certain that it is not her doing. No, this is something else, something a bit more, unrefined. If I had to make a comparison, it would be like comparing a dog to a wolf. While both are similar, a dog is trained, obedient, and well polished. A wolf on the other hand, is wild, beastly, and far more in both power and danger."
"I see. Well, what do you need me to do? It is fairly late and my family has to get to bed still."
"Oh it won't be much, we just need to take a magic reading from everyone besides Karina to just be sure nothing is amiss or at risk to any of you or your family's health is all." Presses the man.
"I understand. And I believe I may have an idea about the source of the disturbance. Please, come in." The man and his 3 companions enter the house after being invited inside. One of them, an older looking woman, nods her head upon entering. "Yes, there is definitely something here."
"I feel it too. Quite unusual actually, but somewhat, familiar too." Another adds in. You Dad excuses himself and walks into the other room where you are. "Hey Raven, I need you to come with me for a bit. I think you may have magical abilities now." He says with a bit of excitement. You follow him and go meet the guests.
"Well, she certainly is the source. And I wasn't even aware that you had yourself a third beautiful daughter" laughs the last person. At hearing their voice your Dad looks at them. "I didn't know you're back in town, Laura. Since when?"
Laura is your Dad's sister, in other words, your Aunt. You bairly have any memories about her though, as she often is out on long travels for the magical association. "I knew you had 2 girls, but where have you hiding my third niece?"
"In a young boy's body actually", jokes your Dad. You try not to laugh at the bad joke.
"Get out! She's what became of your son? And now that you mention it, it would be his 18th birthday today. We'll damn. Good for the both of you." Says Laura while giving you a hug.
"Anyways, back to the matter at hand. I'm sorry to say this, but you seems to be a bit... odd. Mainly in your posture and well, a variety of things actually" says Laura to you. Because you were having people come inside, you had put the gown back on as it at least fit you the best, so most of your bird features are currently covered up.
"Oh, about that. I actually am something like a bird woman." You say openly. You roll back your long sleeves and lift the bottom of your gown up high enough to show off your legs and feet.
A look of sudden realization washes over all four of their faces upon seeing this. "Oh! So your... I get it now. Whew, glad this is all settled. In case you are not aware, your body likely is able to completely change into that of an actual bird. In your case, a raven. And then back into this human form. Right now, you are stuck inbetween forms is all. I am almost positive that those bird parts will smooth out into normal human parts with enough practice. Here, try imagining yourself becoming a raven. Picture how it would feel." Instructs Laura.
You do as she says and in almost no time, feel yourself shrink down and fully develope into an actual raven. It is such a weird feeling, being just a bird. But at least you know know you can do it. The 4 guests seem quite happy to see you transform so easily and Laura tells you how to go back to being human.
You do as she says, but unfortunately are unable to make it back to being fully human. Your body is still part bird, though your feet are only high heeled ankle boots now with no talons. No one seems shocked by this though. "You will surely get it in time" encourages Laura. They then hand you a book on beginner magic and take their leave, with Laura promising to stop by in a few days to check up on your progress. And with that excitement finally out of the way, you and your family finally head off to bed.
