Rebecca had been staring at the screen on the animal TF section on cyoc for some time, hoping for inspiration to hit. She had loved the idea of people turning into animals ever since she was a kid and enjoyed reading all the stories on the site. The problem was that she had never quite managed to start one herself. It was weird, she felt she was a competent writer and liked just about every type of animal transformation going, whether it was immediate or gradual, complete or partial, mental or physical...but it just felt like there was nothing new for her to add. As she sighed to herself in exasperation her attempts to think up a story line were interrupted by a ring of her doorbell.
She left her lounge and walked across the hallway to open the door and reveal her good friend James. James had been a close friend of Rebecca's for some time since they met at her work. He was tall, dark and conventionally handsome and most of the other girls in her office were openly attracted to him, but she and James had always been strictly platonic, which was probably why the friendship worked so well.
"Oh, hi! I forgot we were hanging out today" Rebecca smiled as she ushered her friend in "why don't you make yourself at home while I get us both a coffee?"
Rebecca went to her kitchen to fix the drinks, and returned to find James sitting in the chair in front of her laptop reading the screen with interest. She realised with horror that when she had rushed to get the door she had left her laptop open on the cyoc animal tf story section. She had never told anyone about her unusual fetish - how would she explain this?
"What is this? You have a thing for people being turned into animals?" James asked with a hint of distaste.
"No, I was Googleng for something else and ended up on there by accident" Rebecca answered unconvincingly.
"Yeah, right. You were starting a story on there!" James laughed "You're even weirder than I thought, but don't worry, I won't tell anyone about your secret perversion"
"I'm not weird or a pervert!" Rebecca's face reddened as she snatched her laptop from her friend "It's just different, that's all"
"Come on, I was only teasing" James was still clearly amused, much to Rebecca's annoyance "But it is pretty out there. How do these stories even go?"
A smile suddenly played across Rebecca's lips at these words. Inspiration had suddenly hit.
"I can give you a demonstration if you like. I'm going to start one about you - you can see what people do with it!"
"What? No way!" James protested "I don't want to be on some site where any oddball can write weird crap about me."
"Nobody will know it is you, there must be a million James's out there" Rebecca answered as she began typing urgently. She just wrote a few lines about her friend finding himself magically transported into his own cyotf (animal) story. She wanted to leave it as open as possible to see what other authors might do with it. Just as she was ready to go James decided he was definitely against the idea.
"Hey, Becky delete that crap will you?" he stood up and walked towards her, no doubt planning to disrupt her story before at had even got off the ground. As he approached her Rebecca quickly clicked on the submit chapter button and..
Rebecca gasped in disbelief. James had just vanished right in front of her eyes. Right at the exact moment she had posted about him being magically transported into his own animal transformation story. Was that even possible? Was James now in the cyoc?
