Maureen was taken aback. This man was ‘Gorgeous’. Was it right to call a man gorgeous? He was younger than his colleague, maybe around 40 with dark hair and the bluest of blue eyes. Like Tim he was wearing an expensive looking suit and was immaculately groomed.
“I can’t” even Maureen knew she didn’t say that with a lot of conviction.
“Of course you can. My shout. No strings attached” His eyes were mesmerising.
Maureen looked away. She couldn’t look at this man and deny that she wanted to be with him. She looked at Julia and her companion. Obviously, this Adonis was the colleague Tim had referred to.
Tim said to her “Take a seat. You don’t mind do you Julia?”
Julia glared annoyance at Maureen. Clearly she did mind. That was enough to convince Maureen to comply. She didn’t know what she had done to induce that look from Julia, but she enjoyed seeing Julia upset. Maureen turned back to her apparent admirer “If you insist. I’m Lily”
“Marcus” Blue eyes introduced himself “And this is my colleague Tim and ?”
“Julia” chimed in Tim
Maureen could not believe that Marcus had chosen her. She didn’t think ‘Lily’ was overly attractive. Marcus on the other hand could have had his pick of all the women in the room. Yet he had chosen her.
They made small talk. Maureen had to quickly think up a back story for ‘Lily’ she told them she was a nurse from the country having a few days with a girlfriend who lived nearby but that girlfriend was working tonight and ‘Lily’ had taken herself shopping then come in here for a meal.
It turned out Marcus and Tim were mortgage brokers from Sydney and they had just made a deal with a big development firm. They really were here to celebrate.
As for Julia, Maureen quickly learned that her annoyance was due to jealousy. Julia was just plain annoyed that she had missed out on the better looking man.
Seeing Julia’s annoyance just egged Maureen on. She flirted with Marcus simply to annoy Julia further. The fact that Marcus was witty and had a great sense of humour only made flirting with him even easier.
As they chatted Maureen learnt that the two gentlemen were confirmed bachelors and liked to mix business and pleasure. It was Tim who let slip as to why Marcus had approached her “Marcus always chases the redheads” Maureen knew she would not have got a look in had Liz being there in her own body.
They all ate dinner together and Maureen allowed the men to buy more drinks for her.
After the meal they were both invited up to see the view from the rooms the men were staying in at the tower associated with the hotel. When Julia accepted, ‘Lily’ did as well.
All four went into Marcus’s room and the view was as magnificent as Marcus had made out. The lights of the city were before them.
As Maureen gazed over the view Marcus began to point out some of the city landmarks. Feigning to be a girl from the country Maureen listened attentively. When Marcus gently wrap his arms around her she did not object. She liked the smell of his aftershave.
It was only then that she realised Julia and Tim had departed. No doubt to Tim’s room where the view was supposedly not so spectacular.
Marcus turned Maureen around and planted a kiss on her mouth. It was obvious what he wanted. Maureen accepted the kiss gracefully. She wanted this man and in her mind she could have him. For tonight she wasn’t Maureen Manning. She was Lily who didn’t even have a surname. She was a single woman who had scored the most attractive man at the bar. A more attractive man than what Julia could attract.
When she got a chance though she told him “I can’t stay. Can I ask you to get me a taxi when we finish?”
Marcus agreed then carried her into the bedroom. Maureen made him dim the lights before allowing him to undress her. She didn’t want him to see that she was not a natural redhead.
Marcus’s penis was slightly disappointing but he was an accomplished lover her wore a condom without being asked and made sure ‘Lily’ achieved orgasm before he did. Afterwards they shared a shower and ‘Lily’ daringly used her hands to bring Marcus off for a second time.
Maureen was hoping that they might be up for another round but alas Marcus did not show the recuperation of Sean. She dressed and Marcus put her into a taxi which delivered her back to Liz’s house.
It was only when she was inside that she recalled she was meant to try out the medallion on one of Roger’s clothing items. She didn’t feel like it. She was tired and right now was enjoying the afterglow of sex. She went straight to Liz’s bed.
