"Id like a room on the top floor. Id like to get an idea of the view of the area" you explain
"Ok....but there will be around 7 others up there as its not one of our popular floor. Also...once you go up. You cant leave the floor till you checkout. But every accommodation will be availiable. A restaurant, recreation area, etc."
"I dont see myself leaving much of my room so not coming down is fine."
The woman sighed and gives you the key. Tells you to put it into the button to let it know where you are heading. You thank her and head to the elevator. The woman then makes a call.
"Yeah Beth.....its me Janice. Mr. Quinn arrived and will be staying on your floor......No he didnt.....I didnt get a chance. Figured seeing is believing. So meet him as he gets off since all guests need help right away....Ok thanks."
You enter the elevator and like how the woman explained the floor numbers go down instead of up. You insert the key into floor 1 and turn. The door closes. The light above you glows brighter which you dont think much of it. Once the elevator started moving. You began to feel uneasy. You look in the mirror to see your five o clock shadow gone. By the time you reach the 15th floor you notice your clothes looking weird. Like different. Plus you look leaner then before. Plus the elevator was beginning to look bigger.
By the 13th floor the changes were more noticable.
"Whats going on!" you say covering your mouth hearing one that of a young boy. Your clothes looked like a middle schooler would wear. You put the two and two together. Each time you went up to a floor that was your age...meaning...by the time you reached the top floor...you'd be in diapers. You try stopping the elevator. By stopping at the current floor 11 but key wouldnt work. You try lobby with same result.
Starring back at you was a 10 year old boy. Looking more and more frightened. 9....8....soon you are even eye level with the floor that was your destination. The clothes you were wearing were that featuring pokemon...then mario brothers....7...6....5. Soon you couldnt even reach the lobby botton. By 4th floor you feel your underwear thicken to pullups which by the time you reach your destination...would be a diaper.
Meanwhile on the 1st floor. Beth was waiting for you. She knew she'd find a baby very confused and scared of what happened. Sure enough with elevator doors opened sitting on the ground was a 1 year old baby wearing a Daniel Tiger shirt and a diaper looking very frighened.
"Mr. Quinn I see you arrived to your floor oh right. My name is Beth. The receptionist or your aunt didnt tell you is this a magic hotel that allows its guests to relive their youth. As you can tell the floor determines your age. Dont worry when you return to the lobby tomorrow to check out you'll age back the same way you got younger. These bracelets like the one your aunt left you...prevent the hotel's effects change us. If you wore yours...you wouldve ridden up unchanged. But good thing you didnt because would be hard for you to sleep in a crib or dine on the finest baby food and forumla."
You are terrified as she explains.
"Every guest on this floor are infants too each room are meant to care. There are baby play areas, changing stations instead of bathrooms, and a restarunt with high chairs. I am one of many of the caretakers to take care of you until your checkout time. Now shall I show you to your room Mr. Quinn?
