Sometimes Sasha was almost glad when she went back to school, as it felt almost normal compared to all the magic stuff she and her friends had to deal with. When she was done for the day, she went to watch Duke in the wrestling team one afternoon and saw he was facing up against a guy she thought she had seen before around school.
"Want to place bets on whose boyfriend is going to win?" A girl next to her smirked.
"Uh, not really, but good luck to your boyfriend...uh, what's your name?" Sasha asked the girl.
"Sorry, forgot to introduce myself, I'm Kyra. That's my boyfriend, Wyatt out there, he and I have been going out for a couple of months now and he's...amazing." Kyra said taking a deep sigh.
Sasha knew this girl must be deep in love with the boy duke was wrestling. Wyatt and Kyra knew that some time or another, they would encounter the other young wizards, this was a way to get to know them much closer. Wyatt had decided to try out for wrestling, that way he could see how he fared against his secret step brother.
"You've got quite an arm there." Duke complimented Wyatt.
"Thanks, but to be honest I'm not much of a sportsman type of guy." Wyatt said as he head locked Duke. Duke could feel Wyatt pulling him up and trying to bind him.
Kyra watched this and grew a small smirk before Duke managed to grab Wyatt from behind and pin him down on his back.
"Sorry about that, but you've got to remember, this is all meant for exercise and fun, man. You know wrestling is fake. Sorry to ruin it for you." Duke joked as Wyatt got up with a smile.
"Yeah, I know. But you know, sometimes my dad pushes me to win." Wyatt replied.
"I can relate." Duke said.

When Wyatt and Kyra arrived back home, Wyatt punched a small hole in the wall.
"I can't believe I lost to that...that...outcast asshole!" Wyatt screamed.
"It was just meant to be an observation." Kyra said trying to reassure her partner and lover.
"But he was within my grasp and I used as much of my strength that I could and still....he bested me. That damn Duke." Wyatt muttered.
"What's that about Duke?" Miro said coming from around a corner.
"Duke is on the wrestling team and I tried out to see how I would fare against him, but he managed to beat me father." Wyatt said as Miro nodded and motioned his head for the two of them to follow him.
"Ken and Duncan are both skilled with weapons and have taught you both well. But when it comes to hand to hand combat, I think it best that you spar with me." Miro said as he removed his shirt showing his muscles as Wyatt removed his shirt as well.
Wyatt moved towards Miro who managed to out maneuver him, Miro grabbed his arm and held it behind his back.
"I tried to train Duke to be as cunning and ruthless as myself in battle, but he was so soft against his own father. Wyatt, if Duke or one of those Moreland brats held you in a position like this, what would you do to them?" Miro asked as Wyatt swiped his foot underneath Miro's legs making Miro lose his grip and Wyatt hit pressure points on Miro's body, then he hit him in the chest making him fall onto the floor as Wyatt sat on Miro's chest breathing hard as Miro looked at Wyatt with a determined face.
"Now, what would you do if it were a Moreland or Duke on the floor?!" Miro demanded to know as Wyatt punch his fist down onto the floor near Miro's head.
Both Miro and Wyatt got up and did some heavy breathing as Miro began patting Wyatt on the shoulder.
"THAT is what I always wanted to see in my other son. Wyatt, you impress me more and more with your willingness. Now, how are the plans proceeding?"
"We have the place for prom set, everything else is going well with our forces." Wyatt replied.
"Excellent, I'm proud of you son." Miro said with a smile as he went to meet with Wyatt's mother.
Kyra came over and gave Wyatt a kiss on the cheek.
"What? is that all I get?" Wyatt asked.
"Well....maybe I'll save that for tonight. We still have other things to get to." Kyra said as the two of them met up with some of the other vampires.
