Looking the watch over you dare not remove it, for fear that you'd be lost in the tides of time. You feel like it is the only thing tethering you to your current age. Looking up again, you spot another terrible transformation. A huge bear is galloping towards the water hole you just climbed out of. You watch as it's body seizes up and it slows down. At first it looked like it was just tired. But then you realize that it's furry limbs were slowly losing muscle. They were becomeing weaker and weaker by the second. Showing once again, your soft spot for animals in danger. You rush to the poor animal's shrinking side. But it's absolutely no use, you couldn't help the bird, the dog, and now this poor Brown Bear. Your eyes dart back to the watch on your wrist; frantically you search around the face. As the bear moans and weakly tries to swipe at you with a diminishing paw, you let out a faint cry of surprise; there, on the left-side a tiny silver dial. Etched around it are strange symbols, too hard to make out. You look closer and realive that the knob is spinning also. You grab it suddenly, and the whirring that had been echoing around the silent wilderness stops. So does the shrinking of the bear. He looks up at you, he was almost a minor again, though and felt it would have been foolish to start a fight with you. His eyes flash with fear and he dashes away as fast as his stubby little legs could carry him. Well, you think to yourself, you finally saved one of those innocent creatures.
You're happy that you saved that bear, but you think to yourself... Maybe I can bring back those other animals by speeding up time...
