However, she had to wait until her next race to properly execute it. Races were only held once per 4 days, meaning she had to wait until next week, where her nemesis, Kyle, would be present to observe the race and presumably her predicament. This would be an agonizing wait, but she knew it would be worth it.
The first time she felt the urge to go number two, she let loose a little, only to recall that her rump in the air, the opening pointing upwards, meaning the turds could very well land on herself. Giving in, she stood up with all her legs, marched ahead to let the hindmost torso lay on the same level as the rest, and laid down. She could then safely goo to the loo in the corner. She had the urge to move away, but never did so throughout the wait, given the effort needed to merely stand up.
The cages were only opened whenever there was kibble, and every time her bowl was dumped the entire bag to accommodate her larger size. She could gobble up the entirety of her portion without hesitation, being now used to eating with a snout.
The rest of the time, Jennifer observed the other dogs in the cages. Desperate for contact, some clawed at the cages and bashed at the doors. She hoped that the dogs won't get put down for that behaviour.
The day of the next race came, signalled by a bell. Time for her plan.
"I am not in a cage. I am not in a cage. I am not in a cage…"
This, repeated around 40 times, turned the curse up to full gear. Turning her head, she saw her lower torsos, each in a lain state, pile up on each other, filling up the cage completely. The weight crushed on her lower torsos, and that is why she had to wait until the day of the race — the crushing weight would have been unbearable for the entire 4-day period.
"Holy crud, this cage doesn't fit you anymore!"
The worker muzzled her, grabbed her leash, and slowly tried to pull her entire body out of the cage, with each pair of legs landing on the ground. Even Jennifer's upper torso entered the box, half of Jennifer was still in the cage. The worker had to open the box and lead Jennifer to walk around the racetrack on the leash to let her remaining torsos out of the cage, but even when she had walked an entire lap around the racetrack back to her box, she found her rear end being placed directly in front of her face. Since this meant the cameras could not detect her crossing the finish line, she was dismissed from the racetrack.
Kyle, seeing Jennifer walk out of the front gate, felt incensed at her cheating her way out of the curse. The curse had to change.
"Jennifer, transform or dare?"
