You go back to campus. What can you do? You have been, impossibly, turned into a robot--a girl robot at that. As you walk along, nobody notices anything strange. You even find yourself flirting with guys--it seems to come naturally somehow.
As you go through the lower quad making your way to the southern exit, you trip over a rock in the dirt. You fall down and hit your head, but strangely, it doesn't hurt at all. It's as if your head was made of solid steel, which right now, it seems to be.
"Are you okay?" asks a guy from your Freshman calculus class. He tries to help you up, but you must weigh around 400 pounds from all that metal. He barely manages to lift you and then slips. You go falling on your back and he tries to catch you--only you landed in just the right position for his hand to push against the switch in your back. Helplessly, you find yourself saying "Shutting down" and everything goes black.
He calls the campus medical office, who takes one look at you and gets you shipped over to the robotics research lab.
