It was decided that Jess and Sarah were going to the mall to buy a gift for the Magic Shoppe owner. The teens did own that owner a lot for fixing the situation they were in, so it was the least they could do. Of course, none of them had a clue what to give to him, which was why the girls volunteered to spend the rest of the day looking for something and maybe do some shopping for themselves.
In the meantime, the guys would spend the day at the gym. They've been itching to give their young, muscular bodies a workout. Terry had just finished spotting Duke when they decided to take a small break.
"Woo, man, I missed working out like this. Why did we ever stop?" Duke asked while whipping off the sweat off his brow.
"Life happened," Terry shrugged. Well, maybe it was more accurate to say a bad married life and bad luck seemed to really ruin their lives. Of course, Terry couldn't claim it was all terrible since he did have two wonderful children that he loved with all his heart. If only they didn't come with the baggage known as their mother.
"Yeah... Hey, speaking of which, how old do you plan to get until we return that device?" That was a good question that Terry really hadn't given much thought to. Thinking back to how he was before made him grimace. He was tired, depressed, and, worst of all, skinny. As much as he didn't want to go back to that point in his life, he still had two children to raise and support, and he certainly couldn't do that as a teenager. Though that being said, he didn't need to be that old to support his children. Some funny fantasies like joining his son in college popped into his head, but...
"Well, I know I want to be old enough that I can divorce my wife," Terry's response made Duke chuckle a bit. "What about you? How old do you plan to get."
"Well, I'm not sure myself," Duke started then, proceeded to cross his arms to think. "Well, I think whatever age you plan to stop, I'll stop at that age too." Aww, that was sweet, Terry thought. With that in mind, the two continued to work out with Terry wondering if they could fool around a bit in the shower after they were finished. However, before that could happen, Duke saw someone that caught his eye.
"Dude, look!" Duke pointed to a burly middle-aged man, somewhere in his 40s, lifting some dumbells in the mirror. Terry didn't initially recognize that man, but then he realized he was looking at a younger Eric Landon. The man that they had gifted the Magic Lots to. Seems like he was here to do the same thing the boys were doing, enjoying exercising his younger body.
"Is that Eric? I'm surprised he's that old when we gave those lots to him three days ago." Terry remarked.
"Yeah. Maybe he just has better self-control than we do, or maybe he could have not found the lots until later. Oh, or maybe he already gave the lots away to someone else," Duke theorized. It was then that Terry realized he never informed Eric of the nature of lots in any way, shape, or form. He practically was kicking himself now, damn his twelve-year-old brain.
"Hey Duke, we should warn Eric about the lots." Duke nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, but with the age we are now, will he believe us?" Another good question from Duke. Would Eric believe two teenagers? Well, only one way to find out.
