Adam happened to find a football belonging to Sasha in the living room after a while.
"Hey, how about we go outside and play a little football?" Adam suggested. Everybody thought it sounded like a good idea, however Sasha interrupted them, before any of them went outside the back door.
"Yeah, uh, we might need some 'adult supervision', because one of my neighbors likes to sit outside on days like today and she might be a little bit suspicious about a bunch of kids in the back yard." Sasha pointed out.
"So, who's going to be the grown up babysitter? I don't think it should be me, because I found the football." Adam asked and pointed out, obviously not wanting to be grown up just yet.
"Well since it's my birthday, I guess I'm out too." Duke said, also wanting to be the same age as Sasha currently was.
That left it down to Sasha, Gloria, Diane, and Naomi.
"One, two, three....not it!" Gloria, Diane, Naomi, and Sasha all said together as they pointed at who they thought should be the grown up. Gloria found that all her friends were pointing at her, meaning she was outnumbered.
"Damn it." Gloria cursed as she aged herself back up and further into adulthood around thirty or so as she got a soda from the fridge and went outside to watch her young friends play football together.
"Good afternoon young lady." Sasha's neighbor, an elderly black woman, greeted her as she saw her come outside with the kids.
"Hi there, I'm babysitting for a little birthday party." Gloria answered in reply as the older woman smiled and watched the young kids play.
Gloria was a little jealous, but then she might have thought it would've been a little more fun if Caleb had been present as well. As it was, her friends all currently had their dates at the party.
"Nice to see kids today playing with a football, usually I just see them on their new phones doing who knows what. I prefer some of the older stuff myself. You could say I'm the last of my own generation. All that stuff from the 1940s or so, I rather liked it, like the fashion and the cars." The woman said as the two of them watched the kids play.
"That's very nice." Gloria said nodding, not being too interested in the neighbor's conversation.
"My daughter and her son are coming by soon for a visit you know. My grandson's daddy didn't stick around. It's a real shame, she's quite a woman, and her little son can be quite the gentleman sometimes." The elderly woman said as they heard a car coming up.
Gloria and her elderly neighbor came up to the front to see an old beat up car with the elderly woman's daughter and her young grandson in the car. Gloria thought it best to give all three of these people a new start and wished for the grandmother and adult daughter to be twin sisters who were now closer in age at around thirty and the former son was now the former mother's husband. All three of them seemed to dress like it was the 1940s and the former mother's car was now a 1947 Cheverolet. The neighbors now smiled and waved to Gloria as they went inside and Gloria thought she might be able to play with her young friends now. Gloria instead found them all going back inside tired from playing.
"Okay Duke, what do you want to do now?" Gloria asked as Duke thought for a minute then whispered something to Sasha who listened intently for a minute then smirked as Sasha seemed to focus her attention on Adam and Felicia.
"Oh thank god, we're changing back." Adam said as he began aging up.
"Wait a minute, something seems...off...Sasha....Duke....what are you two doing?" Felicia asked as her voice became a little more masculine.
"Well...Duke thought it might be fun for Felicia to be the man in the relationship for a little bit." Sasha explained as they saw Adam now beginning to grow long hair.
"What?! I don't want to be a girl!" Adam said as both he and his girlfriend began exchanging genders
