Kat had shut off her mental connection to her brother quickly into his transformation. The screaming was giving her a headache. But she did enjoy the initial shock and fear. The pain she knew he was feeling and about to endure made her more excited. She planned to reconnect the mental connection at random intervals through her cooking and eating. She wanted to know how her brother was enjoying his new form.
Dan fear heightened as he spotted the pot, cutting board, peeler and masher be pulled out and set on the counter. He started to figure out what Kat was craving. He whimpered and wished he could roll away. He couldnt.
After finding all that she needed, Kat started to rinse the potatos and remove any sprouts on them. Then with her right hand, picked up the peeler as she held the potato in her left hand. Glancing at all the potatoes, she no longer knew which was Dan and which was just a normal potato.
Dan was fine with the rinsing. But he knew it was just the precursor to the pain about to come. Even the removal of the sprouts, which felt like all his hair had been pulled off hard, was nothing. He was not the first to be peeled. But he knew his time was coming. He watched as his fellow potatos were picked up and peeled, one after another. Then they were placed in a bowl of cold water.
Kat hummed to herself as she peeled the potatos. She was imagining the dish she was making and how her brother would suffer through each step, while Kat enjoyed each step. Kat finally picked up potato Dan.
Dan felt his time for peeling get closer as most of the other potatos were grabbed and peeled. When it was his turn, he screamed at his sister again with still no response. He felt her hand holding him in place as the peeler touched his skin. Then he felt the pain of his skin be removed. Words could not describe his agony. As each section was removed, Dan screamed until it was done. Then the shock of cold water surrounded him. He felt the water seeping and sharply caressing him. This was just the start.
After Kat finished with all the potato peeling. She started grabbing them again to cut into cubes. Some receipes she found said that it was better to cut them first, instead of boiling them whole. So that is what she did.
Dan was expecting to be put in a pot to be boiled next. Instead, he saw Kat hand pulling out potatoes and a distant sound of thumps. But his mind couldn't process just what was happening. Kat pulled him out a moment later and he instantly saw his upcoming fate. His body was placed on the cutting board as a knife came down. Dan felt his body be seperated into multiple different parts. He couldnt keep track of which was where, before he was placed into more cold water. More potato parts were added on top of him, then darkness came as the lid of the pot was placed down.
Kat turned on the stovetop heat and almost walked away, then stopped as she spotted the salt shaker. She quickly opened the pot to add some and close it up again. While the potatos were boiling, she cleaned up her workspace and prepared for the next step.
Dan couldn't see anything. But he could feel. He was in pain and the salty water was making it worse. He was crying and screaming for Kat to stop and change him back. But it was obvious that his sister either couldn't hear him or was enjoying his pain. Slowly, he felt the heat rising around him. It was comforting at first. Almost like a soothing hug from him parents. But the higher the heat became, the more unbearable it became. Dan felt the heat as the water bubbled. He screamed again. If he had vocal cords, they would have torn. Dan could do nothing but cry in pain.
