Chad bolted for his father's private office. There was always a stool next to the table in front of the window, which was always open. Chad was going to use the stool and table as steps up to the open window and go through the screen to escape.
He made it up the stool and on to the table when hands grabbed him before he could leap out the window.
"Whoa! Who do we have here?" Chad and Dylan's father asked as Chad was lifted squirming into the air.
Dylan and Karl appeared in the doorway out of breath from their sprint down the hall.
"You caught him!" Dylan exclaimed.
"I take it this little dog escaped from you, Dylly?" asked his father.
"Dilly?" Snickered Karl in a whisper. He had to find out what Chad's dad called him, if he called Dylan Dilly. Hm, Chaddy?
"Yeah, Karl's little dog is really squirmy, but he'll be a lot more docile after he's neutered maybe you can fit his snipping in for today," Dylan said reaching for his transformed twin brother.
Instead of handing Chad to Dylan, Chad's father gripped him firmly and visually and palpitatively examined the pug without once letting him squirm free.
"Well, I suppose we can fix him?" the veterinarian said.
Chad whined trying to make his father understand that he wasn't really a 20 lb dog but really his 185 lb son. Then he whined as he realized this was hopeless.
"Aside from being a bit whiny, this is the best pug I've seen. As a breeder, he should more than pay for himself in stud fees. So before I cut his balls off," Chad whimpers loudly, "Heh, heh, it's almost as though he understood what we said," he shook his head and continued, "As I was saying, before he's neutered, I'd suggest you take a sperm sample and have the lab test it. If he is stud worthy, and you still want to fix him, Brad's got a guy, uh, Bruno, who is really good at collecting sperm from dogs for freezing. Bet he could collect a year's worth of sperm in a couple weeks. Dylan, why don't you take this stud back to the kennels, collect a sperm sample, schedule him for reevaluation in two weeks. Brad's scheduled to pickup Karl's dog tomorrow. Here, Dylan, don't lose him this time," he admonished handing Chad to Dylan.
