Jeff arrives at his school and enters the building, he hurries down the halls, which were not crowded since most of the kids are already sitting in class. The teen turns a corner, finding himself in an empty hallway, he hurries over to his locker and opens it, he takes off his backpack and takes out the stuff he needs. His eyes spot the chronivac, he takes it out and stares at it, 'should I take it with me, or wait until after class and have some at lunch,' he asks himself.
Jeff is so deep in thought, that he does not notice the school bullies Karl and Todd walking towards him, Karl is 17-years-old and Todd is 18, they are bigger and stronger than most of the students. Karl has short black spikey hair and Todd has brown spikey hair, they spot Jeff and both look at each other, grinning.
Jeff is their favorite "punching bag", so seeing the smaller teen standing all by himself makes them grin evilly, "let's have some fun," Todd whispers and Karl nods.
Karl does a b-line until he is standing right behind Jeff, Todd is standing only a few feet away, "Hey Jeffy," Karl says, "what do you have there".
Jeff jumps and turns arround quickly, he almost falls backwards when he sees Karl's face inches from his, "no-nothing," he stammers, hiding the device behind his back.
Karl smirks, he grabs Jeff by the coller and lifts him up, "you know how much I hate it when lied to," he growls menacingly. The bully reaches his free hand behind Jeff and without difficulty janks the device from the smaller teen's hands. "You know the rules," Karl smirks, "no electronic devices at school".
"G-give it back," Jeff says, "it... it's mine".
Karl just smirks, "not anymore," he says, he looks at the strange device in his hand, "I never seen anything like this," he then says.
'I got to somehow get it back,' Jeff thinks, 'who knows what they'll do if they'd find out what it is'.
Karl looks back at Jeff, "you better tell us what this thing is," he says, "and make it the truth, or else...," he threatens.
"It... It's a TV remote," Jeff says.
Karl sighs and rolls his eyes before punching Jeff in the stomache, Jeff crumbles to the floor with a groan of pain, clutching his abdomen, "I warned you, punk," Karl says, "now, do I have to hurt you more to get the truth," he asks.
Before Jeff is able to say anything, Todd speaks up for the first time, "yo, I know what that thing is," he says.
Karl looks at his partner, "oh," he says, "and what is it," he asks.
"Pl-please... d-don't...," Jeff whinces.
Karl kicks Jeff, causing the boy to let out a painful whince, he then looks back at Todd, "you were saying," he asks.
"It is a Chronivac," Todd says.
Karl blinks, "a Chroniwhat?"
"A Chronivac," Todd repeats, "it is supposedly a device which is able to transform people and objects into various things".
"Oh? Like what," Karl asks.
"As far as I have heard: into anything," Todd says, "like, a toy, a vehicle, a statue, bathroom objects, clothing, animal... heck even into the opposite gender or even make someone older or younger".
Karl stares at the device in his hands, "you mean, this thing has that much power," he asks.
Todd nods, "at least that is what I have heard," he says, "I am not saying that it is true".
Karl continues to stare at the device in his hand, he then hears Jeff whimper and looks down at the boy, still curled up on the floor, then back at the device, an evil smirk appearing on his face. "Well...," he says, "there is only one way to find out if it is true or simply bullshit: we should test it out," he looks over at Todd and nods toward the cowering Jeff.
Todd emediatly understands and grins, "good thing Jeffy-boy has volunteered to help us out".
"N-noooo," Jeff says and tries to crawl away, but a heave foot on his back stops him.
"So, what should we try out first," Karl asks, ignoring the squirming boy under his foot.
Todd thinks for a while, then he grins and says, "let's...".
