You slowly wake back up and turn off the alarm on your watch, as you take it off the rack above you and proceed to put it on your left wrist. You roll out of your rack and begin to get dressed, as your bunkmate Private Jackson proceeds to climb down and do the same. You turn to your bunkmate and say, make sure to pack something kind of warm, I hear we might have a storm coming. They look back at you and say, thanks, I'd hate to get caught out there unprepared. As you are lacing up your well-worn boots, you begin thinking about what the sentries were talking about last night. As you walk over to supply, you again start to think about what you heard last night. But you hear, one of the sentries yell out, "Riders approaching" this gets your attention, and you see it's another patrol returning from sector 13, slightly ahead of schedule. You think to yourself if they can get through, so can I.
You make it to supply and order double rations, and sign them out as the supply clerk retrieves them for you. You proceed to put them into your ruck as you are handed them. You proceed to throw the bag over your shoulder as you make your way to the stables to sign out your mount. You make it to the stables, request a mount, and are provided...
