Tina walks Leah into preschool. The training pants she’s forced to wear stick above her shorts. Tina gave Leah permission to use the toilet, rather than the training pants, but training pants are required for all children who attend the preschool at four years old, which is the age Tina put Leah down as.
“Hi, I’m dropping off my son, Aspen,” Tina says to the secretary. “He’s new.”
“Aw, hi, Aspen,” the secretary coos.
“Hi,” Leah mumbles weakly. After her tantrum, Tina knew she had to punish her stepdaughter severely. Otherwise, she’d never get any sort of respect from Leah again. So, Leah had been pulled from her high school courses for the week and enrolled as Aspen, a four-year-old boy, in the preschool next to Tina’s daycare.
Leah’s disguise is perfect. Her clothes are exactly what a boy of four would wear, and her hair has even been cut short to match. No one will suspect she’s a girl, as long as she doesn’t have any accidents and the teachers follow Tina’s instructions.
“Aspen is fully potty-trained,” Tina tells the secretary. “But he’s also a bit shy. He doesn’t like people watching him use the potty.”
“Unfortunately, our policy is that all of our attendees be accompanied to the bathroom,” the secretary says. Luckily, Tina came up with a plan for that.
“Oh, I understand. In that case, when he’s brought to the potty, please have the adult helping him turn around until he’s done. He can even wipe himself.”
“Are you sure?”
“Completely,” Tina says firmly. “He doesn’t even wear training pants when he’s sleeping at home.”
“Wow. Okay. I’ll let our workers know.” The secretary smiles at Leah. “I hope you have fun, Aspen.” Tina crouches down to Leah’s eye-height.
“Be on your best behavior this week, and you’ll be back in high school next Monday,” she reminds her stepdaughter. Leah nods. “Have a good day!”
Tina leaves the preschool and heads to the daycare to start her own day. She hopes that this punishment really sticks with Leah. In order for that to happen, Leah’s first day of preschool in years will need to be eventful.
