Something in the wall clicked and a door slid open revealing a hidden chamber in the pyramid, a gust of wind exited, clearly it hadn’t been opened in many years, maybe even centuries. With nothing to loose you decide to enter.
Shinning your flash light around you saw several carving of Bastet, the Egyptian guardian goddess, at the end of the chamber was a sarcophagus, with a carving of the feline goddess on it. The sarcophagus was upright and incredibly well made and preserved with intricately painted detail and emerald eyes, you approach to get a better look only to hear another click, looking down you seamed to have stepped on some kind of pressure plate.
The emerald cat eyes glow and the sarcophagus creaks open all on its own. Inside you saw something that made your jaw drop.
There was a real black cat woman in there, in an Egyptian style dress and covered in jewelry. The cat woman yawns and steps out of the sarcophagus, uncrossing her arms and stretching, you hear her bones pop into place.
“Meow~, what a cat nap.” She says in perfect modern English, putting her arms above her head and and moaning as she curved her spine. Her voice was as smooth and soothing as honey.
The cat woman seams to notice you for the first time.
“Uhhhh? Mind telling me what you’re doing in my room?” She asks annoyed putting a hand on her hip like an older sister who caught her little brother in her room after getting out of the shower.
“Y-y- yo- y-your Bastet!” You stammer out.
She smirks at you showing her fangs, clearly happy to be recognized.
“In the furrrrrr~” she purrs.
“B-b-but, you’re just supposed to be a MYTH!”
Her pleased expression drops and anger fils her green eyes.
“I’ll show YOU a myth.”
Faster than you could react, she lunges at you, you put up your hands to defend and get scratched by the Egyptian goddess, fall on your ass.
“Ow,” you moan, blood dripping from your arm. “You scratched me!”
Bastet laughs licking your blood from her paws.
“Trust me mortal, you’ll have a lot more to worry about than just a tiny little scratch in a bit…”
