James was a virgin.
It wasn't actually uncommon at his age, but everything seemed more important at 18, especially surrounded with everyone else having just gone through puberty, especially having just noticed girls. So when he saw the advert to make anyone his personal genie, well, he took all his savings and ran down to the local magic shop, letting out a gasp as he saw at the register, the girl from the commercial, a real life genie, legless and floating in a whirl of blue mist. She still had an expression of utter boredom on her face, like every teenage cashier in history. "Hello sir, how can I help you?" she asked, voice flat.
"Do you have any more genie bottles?" James asked, excitedly.
Summer rolled her eyes. "Of course. You know, it's weird, people don't think magic is real so they think our commercials are a joke." She snapped her fingers, and a box appeared in a flash of blue light. Nothing remarkable or particularly mystical, it looked like the packaging for a cheap TV shopping channel item. "That'll be $89.99. Remember, The Djinn Bottle will permanently enslave whoever it's used on, so if you're not fine with that later, no refunds. You will get unlimited wishes but be careful, if anyone else acquires your full Djinn Bottle, they'll get three wishes."
James eagerly handed over the money, taking the Djinn Bottle to school with him the next day. But who to use it on?
