Jacob and Ava laid on Jacob’s bed after the shower, now dressed for bed. Jacob held Ava from behind, wrapping his arms around her waist. Ava would every so often reach behind her and rub the tip of Jacob’s penis, which was sticking out of the basketball shorts that he was wearing for the night. “Please stop that.” He would say afterwards. Jacob’s father and sister had been gone for over an hour now and he was starting to worry.
“Worry you may get hard and poke me.” Ava teased.
“I’m worried about Sasha, dad and Ian.” Jacob replied. “It shouldn’t have taken this long to drive to Ian’s house.”
Ava turns around in Jacob’s arms. “They will be fine. You will see.” She then kisses his nose.
Jacob smiles before both kids hear two trucks drive up. “They’re back.” Jacob says before the two rushes downstairs. When they got downstairs, they see Jacob’s father walk in the door followed by the others. “Did you find Ian’s family?” Jacob asks.
“Some, lad.” His father replied before Ian and Sasha walk in looking down. Following them was an older Hispanic man (Jose) and a horse man that was wearing a blanket around his waist.
Soon, everyone was in the living room to sit down and talk. “Thank you for willing to take the boys in until we find their parents… Um… Sorry, I never gotten your name.” Jose says.
“Malcolm.” Jacobs and Sasha’s father said.
“Oh, the boys’ father is also named Malcolm.” Jose says. “My name is Jose. I’ve been a friend of Malcolm’s for since school.”
“Aye,” Malcolm replied. “You are welcome to stay too.”
“I need to get back out there.” Jose protests.
“No.” Malcolm strongly commands. “It will be dark soon and it wouldn’t do anyone any good if you got lost or worse.”
“You mean, end up like me.” Derek says, looking down at his body.
“Oh, lad.” Malcolm says. “We will figure something out. If this is a curse, then there must be a way to reverse it.”
“And what about our parents.” Ian asks.
“We didn’t see any ripped clothing, lad.” Malcolm reassures him. “That gives me hope that they are still human. You said on the drive back that you didn’t even change until you started to act on your horny-ness. Sorry for the use of words.”
“Then what about me.” Jacob says. “I didn’t do anything, and I change some.”
“You said to me that you grabbed yourself, that may have been enough for your young libido.” His father tells him. “You may have changed more if you did. As it is, I don’t think you realize that you look a little slimmer.” Jacob looks down at himself. He did seem to lose some baby fat and was toner.
“For now, there is food left over. I will warm in up for all that wants it and we will set up sleeping arrangements. Ave and Jacob and share his room. Ian can stay with Sasha as they work out their situation. Derek, I will have to ask you to stay in here tonight. I just don’t have a room big enough for you. I will bring down some sheets and a pad to sleep on.”
“I will stay with Derek.” Jose offers. “I can take the couch.”
“Fair. In the morning, Jose and I can relook over the land. It will be easier with the daylight and the trucks.” Malcolm says before standing up. “Look, lads. I can’t promise you anything other then we will try. This maybe a small, back water town, but there are good people. If needed to, we will call in help for the two of you.”
Ian and Derek nod their heads as Malcolm walks into the kitchen to warm up the food. After eating, everyone splits off to their respective rooms for the night.
