While Easter wasn't here quite yet, there were plenty of other things going on while people got ready for it. In some cases, it wasn't Easter they were preparing for.

Morgan was a little less than delighted to have been invited to Heiya Island with Lars, Joanne, Philip, and Nicole, but she still was somewhat relieved. She had been worried that she would be signed up as one of the Easter Bunnies. While she didn't know all the details, she had a pretty good idea about what she would be doing: hiding fake easter eggs with candies in them, playing with young children, and talking so cutely that she was gagging from the mere thought of it.
In a way it was worth it to see the four fennec foxes swarmed by both guys and girls once they arrived at Heiya Island, even if it was more about confusion about their species of fox than interest in them, as it had been reported a few times as happening. However, she was still a little nervous since she learned that one of her assigned punishments would be taking place here, so she was still apprehensive about it.

Belle's Bêtes was hit with a surprise of its own, mainly with Miss Juliet and Juan. It was known that the Animalia Virus was constantly adapting and evolving, like all viruses were (especially Covid), but in some cases, it wasn't known how much the virus was adapting between different subspecies of Animalians. While Miss Juliet was insisting that she and Juan weren't compatible, she got caught off guard by what happened.
When Spring Fever hit her and Juan, everyone knew the old saying "if the trailer's a rockin', don't come a knockin'." and gave the master bedroom a wide berth. When Miss Juliet's heat died suddenly, she immediately checked the next day and found that she was pregnant, much to her surprise, as well as everyone else's. Of course, there were those who claimed that the claim was false, but all the signs of Animalian pregnancy were there. It was too soon for a verdict to be officially announced, but the memes that the announcement were generating were entertaining enough until the official ultrasound verdict.
There was also a poll on the Animalia Website as to what the new subspecies of fox should be called, and, as expected, the "troll bait" was getting the most hits. While the "troll bait" was rather hilarious to read, it was generally accepted that "electrum fox" would be the one to win out, since electrum was a naturally occurring alloy of silver and gold.
