Months passed as Evan waited for her pregnancy to finish. Her belly grew every day, as did her breasts. She dreaded what would happen when she finally gave birth. The minotaur had mentioned a sleeper cell. What did that mean?
Finally, the day came. Evan was brought to a birthing room, where a small crowd, including the minotaur that had impregnated her, watched. She mooed from pain as she gave birth to triplets.
“Three calves at once!” gasped the minotaur midwife. “This so rarely happens.”
“I knew she would be good breeder stock,” Evan’s minotaur husband grunted in approval. He walked over to Evan and cupped her face in his hands. “Unfortunately, my wonderful breeder, you will not see me until the war is over.”
“What?” Evan whispered, tired from birth.
“You are to return to the humans, among whom you will blend in. When you breed with a human male, you will take his humanity, as I took yours, and take his years as well, leaving him a minotaur calf. We will retrieve each human you transform into a minotaur and raise him.”
“That’s- that’s horrible!” Evan managed. The minotaur chuckled.
“It is what happened with me. I was once an adult human male, before I bred with a female minotaur.” The minotaur kissed Evan gently, sweetly. “Breed with as many human males as you can. If you are seen by a human female, merely force her to suckle from your breast, and she will become a breeder as well.”
“If- if I have sex with human men, I will become pregnant,” Evan said, desperately trying to find a way out of this.
“Do not worry. Any calves you conceive on this mission will be full minotaur. And I will accept them as my own offspring. Now, go, my beautiful breeder. Make our people proud.” The minotaur smiled. “Oh, and no more will you respond to the male name of Evan. Your name is now Eve.”
Eve felt compelled to obey her mate. She didn’t want to, but somehow, she found herself on the outskirts of the human capital city. The only question now was how she would fulfill her mission.
