Dan was confused. Why were they in the toy section? Surely there wasn’t much for him to demonstrate there. He opened his mouth to speak, but before he could get a word in, the girl finished typing on her phone. The girl smirked at him.
Dan felt himself begin to shrink. To his surprise, his clothes shrunk with him. After a few moments, the girl was now towering over him.
“Aw, you look adorable!” the girl gushed. She took a picture of Dan with her phone and then showed him the picture. Dan stared. The subject of the picture was a toddler-aged little boy with curly blond hair to match the girl’s. He was wearing red overalls patterned with fire trucks, a white T-shirt, and Velcro shoes. The real kicker, however, was the obvious diaper bulge around his waist.
Dan looked down at himself, confirming the picture was accurate. He had indeed become the toddler in the picture, down to the thick diaper. At least his badge was still pinned to the front of his overalls.
“I wasn’t sure if it would work or not, so I’m really happy it did,” the girl said. She pointed at a nearby dollhouse. “I want you to demonstrate that product for me.”
“The…dollhouse?” Dan asked. The girl nodded. “Um, okay. I’ve never played with a dollhouse before…”
“Oh, right, because you’re a boy,” the girl said. She grinned. “I’ll fix that.”
“Wait-” Dan started. It was too late. The girl typed something on her phone. Dan felt a tickling sensation on the back of his neck as his hair began to grow. His clothes changed from overalls to a cute pink dress and matching sandals. He knew without looking in his diaper that he was now a she. Thankfully, her badge hadn’t moved; it was still pinned to the front of her dress.
“Wow, you’re like the little sister I wanted,” the girl gushed. She patted the top of Dan’s head. “All right, go play!” Reluctantly, Dan toddled over to the dollhouse, her diaper rustling with every step. She sat down, picked up a doll, and began to play.
