Albert, or Al as he preferred, found himself in an interesting situation. His dad had remarried and he was going to be living with his new mother and step siblings.
Personally, he wasn't sure how to act around those two. He had been an only child while they already knew how to act around a sibling. Sure, adding a new sibling to the mix could be awkward, especially when the new one was 16, but at least they had experience with having one.
Not only did he have no experience but his new siblings were girls. That made things more awkward since he had less he could relate to them with than he would had they been boys.
However, his new mother had an idea. She thought it would be good to take a family vacation to help break the ice. She even suggested Swapcation as the travel agency since they would be less awkward about having new siblings if they were all dealing with the awkwardness of being a new sex.
Al didn't really agree but apparently he didn't get a vote. Al had been watching the ad in the lobby, thinking about how he would soon be one of the girls from the after section.
Someone called their family to the back and his dad and step-mom stood up. One of his new sisters nudged him to get his attention.
