The shock and outright trauma from the firstborn of the curse placed upon Jennifer had sent her backwards onto her bed, her legs still hanging over the side of it. Her mind was reeling from the utter insanity of what had just happened to her, half of it still frantically trying to deny that any of this was happening, that she was just having a really bad nightmare and that that pain she was feeling from her stomach was just food poisoning or something that was definitely not some unholy insect abomination that just grew up inside her and tore its way out.
"My queen, please stay calm."
And that that voice she just heard was another figment of her imagination. And that face that was coming into her view was as well.
"My queen, you must rest. Your body must recover for the next cycle."
Cycle?
"No, no, no..." Jennifer began to stammer, trying to will herself into backing away from this...this being that had come into her view. It was a human girl, or at least what looked like one. There were a few notable things Jennifer's still-rather-panicked mind could process about the strange girl now in her room: she was naked with what seemed like yellow and black markings all over her like body paint or tattoos, had two set of arms at her sides, had a pair of insectlike antennae sprouting from her forehead, and her eyes were rather big and black for her face. "You, you can't be real..." she managed to say.
"I assure you I am, my queen. Please call me Primia, for my sisters will surely follow."
"Sisters?" That's when Jennifer remembered that that asshole Kyle said she'd do this over and over again. In a mix of panic and dread Jennifer managed to somehow find the strength to turn her attention to her own stomach, the dread of anticipating what unholy and disgusting mess the birth of that creature would have left behind coupled with the fear of just how badly she would need to go to a hospital, only for that fear to melt into puzzlement as she saw that her bare midriff looked perfectly fine, her stomach showing no sign that something as large as a girl had ripped its way out not a few minutes ago. But as the off-color stains on her skirt and on the floor next to the bed showed, neither did she imagine that whole episode. "What the..."
"There was no way for Kyle Perkins' terms to have been fulfilled without necessary adjustments," Primia answered, anticipating Jennifer's questions. "My birth and the start of the next cycle cannot happen unless your body was given the ability to heal rapidly from physical trauma. I was able to use some material to speed your recovery process."
"But that means-" Jennifer's words were cutoff as she felt a small familiar but unwelcome pressure in her stomach, her dread upon realizing what that meant making up for the rest as she instinctively placed a hand on it.
"Yes, my queen. My first sister seems to be on the way already."
"No, nononono...this, this can't be real, this..."
"My queen, please calm down."
"How the hell am I supposed to calm down?!" Jennifer's terror finally became superceded by anger - at Kyle, at this dare, at this curse, at this thing growing on her stomach, at this person in front of her calling her queen. "And will you stop me 'queen'?!"
"Very well," Primia answered. "How should I address you?"
