Gael wasn't all that ready for a solid work out. He'd made a membership with this interesting new gym, but was rather intimidated by just how athletic all the gym-goers were. Each was the peak of various fitness; it had body builders, runners and all sorts of fit people.
Gael couldn't understand it, surely there were some, well, normal people here? Gael decided that just a simple, relaxing session in the sauna would do him good. It really wasn't really exercise but it was good for people, or at least he'd heard. After entering the gym, Gael undressed into a pair of bathers, avoiding the gaze of the many naked men lounging around the place legs spread, cracking jokes and jockishly fooling around. Walking towards the sauna at last, there was a burly man stranding at a desk outside.
He picked up a towel from the tray beside him, grinning slightly.
"Sorry kid, but if you want to keep ya modesty, it's towels only. "
Gael felt outraged. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me. Towels only. Can't have outside chemicals messing up the place."
Gael had never heard such a stupid excuse in your life. He was almost about to turn away, confused about this gyms causal attitude to clothing and frankly stupid rules, until he found himself stopping. It was like a wave over his mind. A voice telling him, 'hey, what the heck?'
Taking the towel he found a corner so he might undress with some privacy, it didn't exactly work with that burly receptionist staring at him, but quickly Gael wrapped a towel round his waist and entered the gym with a huff.
Gael was alone in there, the air warm and hot. Mist curled around the room and smoothed his senses. It eroded Gael's annoyance with the gym, and that he'd needed to undress and wear nothing but a towel in here. Taking a step forward, Gael noticed the murals along the wall. They were a lot like the Greek Art he'd seen online; various illustrated men working out naked, one for each sport. He counted them:
There was a runner,
There was a wrestler,
There was a soccer player,
There was a bodybuilder,
and more...
It was then, counting these detailed murals, that Gael noticed his towel disintegrating. It vanished as if eaten by acid leaving him nude and exposed.
Gael turned towards the exit, but found it locked!
