Nadia splashes some cold water on her face to snap out of the equally disturbing and arousing thoughts of male gay sex. She was a regular, straight woman and she won't allow herself to be perverted like this. She wipes her face clean of the messed up remnants of makeup and looks at the pieces of "Nathan" scattered on the bathroom floor. She picks up the lifeless, mask-like head. If she stays here with Jake, this is who she would be forced to be. A virile, hairy black man, Jake's "boyfriend". There was no way she can put up with that! She had to run away!
She decides she would have to act fast if she wanted to make her escape. Sneaking silently back into Jake's bedroom, she quietly raids her captor's wardrobe for something she could wear. She was NOT going to go outside buck naked!
Nadia tries to be as quick as she can so she settles on grabbing blue sweatpants, a white button up shirt, a pair of old sneakers that looked to be smaller than Jake's other shoes, maybe kept from when he was a kid? Nadia also takes a grey hoodie and the cleanest briefs and socks she could smell.
She rushes to put her long black hair in a practical bun and gets dressed up in Jake's clothes. Before she makes her escape she also steals some money from Jake's wallet. Nadia didn't feel too proud of this action but still she couldn't hold back a mischievous snicker.
Finally sneaking out the apartment door and out into the street, she meets the chilly autumn night air. Nadia zips up her somewhat oversized hoodie, puts the hood over her head to make herself both warm and unassuming. She runs into the night, into this unfamiliar city, no idea where she was or what she will do. No home, no family, no friends, but at least she was free.
