Daniel looked down at himself. He was suddenly completely nude. He blushed, covering himself as best he could with his hands.
“Oh, don’t be so shy,” a voice boomed. Daniel looked up. A large eye was peering at him through the window of the flat. “Fairies never wear clothes!”
“Who- who-” Daniel stammered.
“You don’t recognize your genie?”
“You’re-”
“I suppose I seem very big to you right now. I’ll fix that.” With a puff of smoke, the genie appeared before Daniel. “There. Being this small is uncomfortable, but I think I’ll be able to get my point across a bit better.”

“I’m- I’m supposed to help with the garden?” Daniel asked. The genie nodded. “I don’t know how to do that!”
“Don’t worry. It’ll come naturally to you. Now, I have other business to tend to. Get to work, fairy Daniel!” The genie disappeared in a puff of smoke. Daniel walked over to a mirror on the wall. Sure enough, he had green butterfly-like wings and was somehow glittering.
“Hey, newbie, no slacking off!” a voice said. Daniel looked over. The door to his flat was open. In the doorway stood a male fairy with blue butterfly-like wings. Like him, the other fairy was completely naked. “Come on!”
“…Okay,” Daniel mumbled. He walked up to the other fairy. “I’m Daniel.”
“I’m Joshua.” Joshua shook Daniel’s hand. “Another guy, huh? I’m not surprised. The genie likes to keep female fairies out of the garden because they cause trouble.”
“…Right. So, uh, how are we supposed to help make the garden better or whatever?” Daniel asked.
“Easy! Fairies improve a garden by…”
