Daniel looked down. He was wearing a short, blue pleated skirt, a white top with a school’s logo on it, and matching blue shoes. He also was holding a pair of pompoms; the one in his left hand was white and the one in his right hand was blue. However, he was distracted by the small mounds on his chests.
“Are these…” he said, dropping the pompoms and cupping the mounds.
“Breasts, yes,” the genie said. Daniel looked up. “Not very large yet, but girls your age aren’t fully grown.”
“Girls my-”
“Welcome to being a teenage girl, Daniel! Or should I say, Danielle?” the genie chuckled. “This is going to be very fun.”
“Wh- why a cheerleader, of all things?” Daniel, or rather, Danielle, demanded. “And why a teenager on top of it?”
“When you say cheerleader, you think teenager, so that’s what I went with. And as for why I chose a cheerleader, hmm, no reason. I’m just getting a bit bored of turning people into maids and magical creatures. I wanted to mix it up a bit.”
“I’m not going to cheer wherever it is you want me to cheer,” Danielle ground out.
“You don’t have a choice, dear girl. You’ll feel compelled to do your new responsibilities as a cheerleader. That means you’ll be compelled to go to school, get good enough grades in your classes to be on the cheer team, and, of course, cheer at the sport games.” The genie snapped her fingers. A backpack appeared at Danielle’s feet. “Get your bag. It’s time for school.”
Danielle didn’t want to obey, but it was like her body had a mind of its own. She found herself picking up the backpack and putting it on.
“I’ll give you one choice before you go to your new life,” the genie said.
“What?” Danielle asked.
“What kind of person do you want to be in school?” the genie asked. Danielle frowned, thinking. After a moment, she knew. She wanted to be the…
