“There once was a beautiful princess who was born to rule her kingdom. However, she was stuck living a normal life for years and years. Then, a special wave of light gave her the ability to return to her kingdom, and rule it as it’s proper leader,” Amy said.
Throughout her story I saw projections of her life, the wave hitting her, her powers being used for the first time when she was 15.
“It took a while to use her powers properly. She could only enter her kingdom through specific points, such as her closet, the school bathroom, and even in a restaurant. Over time, she was able to learn how to enter her kingdom in other ways, but was unsure how to show off her powers to others…” Amy narrated.
Once again, I saw projections throughout her story.
“So this is where I come in?” I asked.
She laughed.
“Her dumb step brother, Thomas, would eventually be brought in. Bringing him into her kingdom was far more difficult than normal, so she waited until another wave of light hit. This gave off enough energy to transport him into the princess’s kingdom.
However, before him, many other people were brought in. A Princess needed people in her kingdom to rule over, after all.”
“Wait, who else is in here?” I asked.
“Ahem! These people weren’t lucky. They ended up being victims to the same wave of light that gave the princess her powers. So, the benevolent princess gave them forms that they preferred. Thousands of victims had all their problems fixed, just at the cost of having to stay in the princess’s kingdom.”
I wasn’t sure how to feel about this. While many people suffered due to their transformations, forcing them to live under Amy’s kingdom didn’t seem much better.
“Now, the story has caught up with real life. Onto the kingdom!” Amy shouted.
I suddenly felt my environment shift into a throne room. There were guards everywhere, and Amy sat on a throne.
“Outside this castle, there is a village, filled with other people. There isn’t much else outside of the village, but I plan on introducing more,” Amy said.
“That’s cool and all, but why did you bring me here?” I asked.
“Well, I am a ruler and all… but I don’t feel like a princess quite yet. I am incomplete.”
“And how do I fix that?” I asked.
