One second, Jaiden was walking across campus, ready to drop-out of university due to the expenses growing too high. Then in the second after they found their face hitting the coarse dirt of this strange realm.
Soon scrambling upright, they brushed the dirt off of them and tried to adjust to the sudden shift in environment, soon scanning their surroundings as they attempted to understand what happened to them. Where were the buildings that had been around them only a moment ago? People? The sidewalk they were on? But all they could see was just this dirt, these large blades of grass, yellowed leaves falling down, and the impossible sight of a humongous tree; not even rivaling skyscrapers, but within an entirely new league to them... At least, as far as Jaiden was concerned.
They staggered, their breathing suddenly growing heavy as they covered their mouth. A few answers came to mind, each unsettling in their own ways: Such as the idea that they simply are losing their mind, going insane and suffering from a psychotic break of some kind, hallucinating all of this with horrific detail. Then there's the idea that they really have been brought to a new world, if that then... What happens now? They don't know the languages here, even if they do somehow speak a Terran language that Jaiden knows... It is unlikely they can adapt to the new culture, and plus there's the issue of their friends back home. Family. And the possibility that they merely somehow got shrunk, while seemingly humorous, still brings up issues of being stepped on... And on how they're going to eat, drink and clean.
But enough of that for now. As they soon begin to merely walk in a random direction. Glancing up on occasion in case of any leaves. They do not want to test out if these leaves are as light as before. But soon, out of the corner of their eye, they saw something begin to dash in the sky. Rushing around in the air, before landing right next to them. And with instability, Jaiden went to look towards whomever they had just met.
